This makes him feel a little less awkward at happening upon a guy who looks a bit like him crying. Being pretty perceptive, he also gathers that she wouldn't have said that unless she was worried about this guy's feelings. He scratches the side of his head and glances at a rock to the right as he speaks next.]

Saa... you know, my friend really likes gold. She started turning things she touches into gold. But I don't think gold is the most important thing to her.

[To Nill, Haine is the most important person in her life--though she'd never expected Haine to think the same of her. A lot happened to him, bad things still happen occasionally, but she'd never thought about whether or not Haine thought she was important. She doesn't need to be the most important thing, but she wants him to like her at least...]
