It could easily be the theme song of Sayo's daily routine. Go to work early, leave and stop by the store, perhaps go on a simple walk to see how people are fairing today; it would all be mundane for some people, even mind-numbingly annoying, to repeat a cycle. But not for her. Her memory problems are more than enough to keep things feeling less worn and overdone.
Ah, and what's this, upon walking to her right? A girl who looks distressed.
This will. Not. Do!]
Oh, what's wrong?
[Scanning her over now. Aa, she has the look of New Feather about her, once Sayo gets over the fascination with her eye and hair colors (honestly, still getting over how different everyone is 8D).
She leans in, not too close as to snatch away Nill's space.]
[Nill is certainly not used to people just walking up to her and talking to her--nicely no less. Usually her wings would cause people to look the other way, or look around to find her owner. Or look too intently. But the way this woman is speaking to Nill reminds her of Naoto. Kind...]
[She fidgets a little, fingers hooked together, and looks up at the woman shyly. Nill doesn't even know where she's new to, let alone if she's new at all. Is she just someplace she's never been before?]
[Looking up at the stranger, then around at the strange buildings, then back at the woman, she tilts her head. Where is she?]
You look confused, and I can imagine why! You see, I know it's hard to believe, but you were brought here just like myself and the others here-this is Luceti.
[She lowers her chin, frowning at the thought. Actually, it's pretty scary for some people. She was definitely scared, when she'd woken up away from home and family.
There's really no easy way of saying it.]
...It's awful, but I'm afraid you were kidnapped, too.
[Nill's tears come back, though she's completely silent despite how distressed she looks. She'd never heard of a place called Luceti, and if she was here that meant that everyone was worrying about her or someone was trying to get Haine or Badou again. There were so many possibilities as to why she was here, but all of them meant the same thing: she was being held somewhere against her will again.]
[She'd been so happy at the church... why had it ended so soon?]
[Oh, no, she was worried this would happen! It's only natural! D:
Attempting to hold one of your hands in that comforting-plz-don't-cry way!]
Oh, no no no-don't cry! There are a lot of people here who are in the same situation as you; a lot of people here to protect and help you. So don't you worry! We're all going to find a way to go home soon, okay?
[Nill lets the other woman hold her hand, and even squeezes a little, because while she's extremely upset she still is glad to have someone trying to comfort her.]
[Finding a way home soon sounds good, though. She wants to go home to Haine and Naoto and the Bishop and Badou as soon as possible--she doesn't want to worry them. Though she's worried about what will happen to her while she's trying to get home. So much can happen, after all...]
[She sniffles, trying to stop crying and be brave for the woman's sake. She seems upset about Nill crying. Slowly, she tries to smile, though it's a little shakey. After a moment, she gently turns the other woman's hand over so her palm is facing up, and writes four letters in it: N-I-L-L.]
[Ah, that's a good response. Even after Nill spells her name out into her palm, she makes sure to keep a gentle clasp on it.]
Nill... Nill, it's going to be all right. Even though it seems scary, I'll help you as much as I can. And I know a lot of people here will do the same, so if you ever feel like you're scared and alone, you just have to remember that!
Now then, before anything, you'll need some better clothes than that! And a place to stay for now... Everything in the shops and all of the housing is free here, so don't worry about money or anything like that, all right?
[Nill hopes that this woman is right and there are people who would be willing to help her. It is a foreign concept for her, after all: people wanting to help. So far, only Haine, Badou, Naoto, and the Bishop had wanted to help. Everyone else was too busy eking out their own existences.]
[Her eyes go a little wide at the mention of free clothing and housing. She'd never had to pay for any of that before, but she'd never really been on her own before either. It's a good thing she doesn't have to worry about money, though. How would she earn anything? She could sweep and clean... But other than that, she didn't have any sort of skills that could recommend her to a paid job.]
[Nill still has a dozen questions, but she's both unsure where to start and how to ask. So for now she just stands up, still holding the woman's hand and smiles weakly. She said something about getting clothes, right?]
[Sayo... that's a nice name. Nill smiles, showing teeth this time, and takes Sayo's hand. She's definitely a nice lady. Nobody would stop to help her when she was in trouble, except Haine. And now that she's in trouble again, someone else is helping her. So this person had a heart like Haine's. She could be trusted.]
[Though even while she keeps holding Sayo's hand, Nill has to wonder where she's being taken. She looks up at Sayo, tilting her head questioningly.]
[Whatever she wants... Back home, she knew that if she asked the Bishop for something, he would of course provide it for her. But given she was a constant guest of the Bishop, it was only fair that she give something back--accept all of his gifts and so forth. But now she could pick out her own clothes, wear whatever she liked!]
[Nill practically skips into the racks of clothing and starts picking out things that are brightly colored or pastel. So much to see, so much to wear that she'd never seen before!]
[She picks out various pieces of clothing and shows each one to Sayo--good? Or not good?]
[They're just wonderful! Much different than the kimono Sayo wore, but it didn't at all dull her aesthetically pleased side. Oh my, these shorts and shirts on this rack over here are so exposing... 3_3]
These are all lovely, Nill-chan! And you're so pretty, you'll make them look even prettier! Oh, and don't forget scarves and gloves and shoes, either-they're very important for the winter~
[And she does love looking pretty! Nill's never suffered from a lack of self-esteem (and in some cases she's wished she weren't quite so pretty...), but she does like people telling her she looks nice. So Sayo's comment makes her smile even wider and twirl around with whatever she's just shown to her for approval.]
[Eventually she picks out a nice long-skirt, long-sleeved shirt ensemble, along with long socks, boots, gloves, a scarf, and a pair of pink earmuffs. She looks a little like she's about to go out into a snow-warzone...]

I'm Sayo-don't worry about a thing, Nill-chan, because I'll make sure you're all set up. Consider me your humble guide!
[Tugging you along happily now, because we need them clothes! 8D!]

She claps, clearly a little too excited for her own good. Hey, even in old-school Japan they enjoyed dress-up, okay?]
You can have whatever you want here, if you think it's pretty or nice! So don't be afraid to just point out something you like, mm?
