[New faces have been cropping up all over, but this one looks even more distressed than most of them. Rokuta hesitates briefly, frowns and starts go on along his way, then finally sighs and turns to approach the girl. He has his hair wrapped in a scarf to hide its color, and likewise his own wings are tucked under his clothes.]
[Of anyone, this person looks the most... wrapped-up of anybody she's seen. Almost like he's hiding. Nill looks carefully over at his back, then back at his eyes. She's frowning slightly--why is he hiding his wings when everyone has them? Did he come from where she did, where wings weren't something one showed off to anybody?]
[She looks hesitantly up at the scarf, then clasps her hands nervously over her stomach and nods slightly. The whole incognito aspect of his dress is making her wonder if she should be talking to him.]
[He really doesn't need to cover his hair here, but it's a very, very long habit Rokuta just hasn't bothered to break. The look she's casting toward the scarf makes him wonder if maybe he should, though. Ah, well. He'll think about that later.
For now he just looks her over with a thoughtful frown, then after a moment tugs off the wrap he's wearing and holds it out.]
Here. They never give people warm clothing, even in the winter. You should start with this.
[Nill hesitates for a moment, then puts her hands on the scarf. She isn't worried about accepting something from a stranger (he looks nicer without the scarf), but she does give him a worried glance. Isn't he going to be cold without it? If he was wrapped up in it, that meant he was cold, didn't it?]
[Rokuta just grins and gives a small shrug in response, letting go of the scarf as soon as he thinks she has it without allowing further argument.]
Don't worry about me, I'm fine. You should go visit the clothing store and get something other than that dress, though. It's all free, and most of it's a lot more suited to the weather.
[Stores...? She was allowed to go to the store by herself? Well, there wasn't anybody to come with her, so she definitely had to go by herself to get some warmer clothes. And shoes. She couldn't walk around in cold weather without any shoes.]

He hesitates, then his grin turns somewhat rueful for a second.]
Sorry, let me back up a little. I'm Rokuta. I got here a couple months ago.
[Oh, she hadn't thought of that. She's essentially homeless, doesn't have any clothes, and it's cold. Suddenly her problems seem to be a lot bigger than she had originally thought. Though not belonging to someone cruel was definitely a plus...]
[Rokuta offering to help did make things seem a little less overwhelming, though. She needed clothes and a place to sleep before nightfall. If Rokuta showed her where to get clothes, that would be one thing down. The sleeping thing, though... weren't most apartments dangerous?]
[Still, his smile was reassuring. Nill smiles and pulls Rokuta's hand, palm up, over to her so she can write her name and introduce herself.]
[Rokuta's brows lift a little in surprise as she takes his hand, but he doesn't do anything to protest the action; he simply blinks at the girl and then down at his hand as she writes. Okay, so maybe she wasn't so quiet just because she was shy.]
[She nods, happy that he guessed right (instead of thinking she was trying to spell out a word or something--it had happened!). Nill stands up and wraps the scarf around her neck and ties it loosely. Though she suspects she looks a little odd with such a thin dress paired with a scarf.]
[So she stands up and stands next to Rokuta, waiting for him to show her where she can get some clothes and smiling expectantly.]
[The smile looks a lot better than the tears earlier, and Rokuta smiles in response, both reassured and trying to be reassuring to the new girl. Kid seems as lost as some of the kaikyaku he's encountered, and if she can't even talk... well, best to make sure she at least has the basics.]
Okay then, Nill. It's not too far, just follow me.
[Aaaaand he wanders off toward the clothing store, glad that it really isn't too far, since she's dressed like that.]
[Nill follows along, slightly behind Rokuta, hands clasped in front of her as she looks around her new city. It certainly is different from what she's used to, but... it doesn't look bad. It looks nice. ...well, nice for a place that's kidnapped her.]
[They arrive at the clothing store, and Nill takes a moment to look around. Wow, she can wear any of this, couldn't she? She didn't have to wear all of those lolita dresses anymore, if she didn't want to (unless the Bishop showed up, and then Nill would just feel bad about not wearing the things he gave her--she'd have to wear them then). What to wear, though...]
Your own clothes should be in here somewhere. Or I guess you could take something else, if you'd prefer... there's certainly plenty to choose from.

[Nill looks around through more of the clothes, pulling a few things off the racks; a long skirt, long shorts, some shirts with cute animals or designs on them. She puts it all back, as though trying to decide on something, when she finds one of her own dresses...]

[She takes the dress and scurries off to the corner to change into it. When she comes back, she's in a dress that's probably too frilly to be practical, but it's hers. There's a place for her wings, after all.]
[Nill goes back to Rokuta and holds the skirt out a little. Is this okay...? Or too weird...?]
[Yeah, as though he knows anything about clothes... he's been wearing basically the same thing for the last five centuries and isn't really familiar with that style of dress. Still, it suits her and not just because it's already set up to accommodate her wings. Must be her own or something. Rokuta tilts his head a little, thoughtful.]
It looks nice, but you might want to grab a coat or something too, for while you're outside. It's been snowing a bit lately.
[Snow. Yes, that would make a skirt and short sleeves very uncomfortable. Even if she isn't used to wearing a jacket, and thus doesn't know if one of hers is there, she should get one.]
[She digs out a long pink pea coat (pink is nice...), as well as some long socks and boots lined with fleece. Once she's done getting her socks and shoes on, and threading her wings through the jacket, she stands waiting for Rokuta's approval.]
