Nill stands up with her journal and passes the camera over what appears to be a rather... colorful array of clothing. Oranges, greens, a purple shirt, a yellow scarf with blue fringe... [Normally Haine would've laughed his ass off seeing Badou get dragged around by the old man. If Nill hadn't started crying even harder just before, that is. Anything he said only seemed to make it worse, and now these idiots were marching in and-]

Wh- Let go, what the fuck are you doing?!

[The old geezer is a lot faster than he lets on and he doesn't escape the humiliation without ripping the skin around a couple of his earrings. He glares angrily, though averts his gaze as soon as Mihai starts his lecture. Really, tearing Badou a new one would've been a lot easier from the start. He was the one who brought Nill into it in the first place with his stupid poetry! And what does that have to do with why she's upset now?!]

[He shoves his hands in his pockets and looks pointedly in the other direction, avoiding eye-contact with the majority of the room. The clothes on the floor, the tacky bows and colorful stuff in his closet... Fuck. That couldn't be- There was no way she'd-]

[Another glare is sent in Badou's direction, even if he's not sure how it happened, Badou is definitely the one to blame. Revenge for the smoking thing most likely... shit.]

[Nill looks up from her crying when Mihai and Badou, somewhat ungracefully, enter the room. Why Mihai is dragging Badou carrying a basket of Haine's clothes, Nill doesn't quite get. And, on top of that, she's a little too upset to realize why--at least, not immediately.]

[But Badou's looking at the floor, Haine's glaring at Badou, Mr. Mihai's upset with both of them, and there's something about an explanation. She looks between the three of them, confused, eyes still swimming in tears as she waits for someone to explain.]

[After he's sure he's got the attention of both the children in the room, Mihai will let go of both of them. If either tries to bolt, however, they can be sure their ears will be held hostage yet again.]

[Now, however, he's left with two supposedly grown men looking anywhere they could to avoid the situation at hand. He lets out a frustrated sigh, particularly when he notices Nill's teary-eyed expression.]

If you two want to play these sort of childish pranks on each other, then that's your business. But dragging Miss Nill into your games is inexcusable. Now apologize to her, both of you.

I lied about Haine's clothes because he talked you into thinking I'm trying to quit smoking and I was pissed. [This all comes out in one breath. Badou raises his eye guiltily, but he should at least look her in the face.] Sorry I dragged you into it. That was bullshit.

[It's hard to feel like apologizing, when mostly he just feels like slamming Badou's face into the nearest wall. But that solution, unfortunately, won't make Nill stop crying.]

I only said that because you were being such an asshat and broadcasting that stupid poetry and-

[And none of that really sounds like an apology. Mostly he's just annoyed that the idiotic poem dragged her into it in the first place and made her worry.]

[The last is the hardest, as he's pretty sure neither of the others will let him off without a proper apology. He rubs the back of his neck and looks pointedly in the other direction.]

[So... oh.]

[So because Badou had written that poem in Haine's journal, Haine had tried to get back at him by telling her to hide Badou's cigarettes. And in retaliation, Badou had told Nill to replace all of Haine's clothes with something he didn't like. So they had used her to get back at each other. Used her.]

[Unfortunately for Badou and Haine, this explanation doesn't make her start crying again. She is a mad little demihuman. How could they be so mean to each other and her? How could they lie to her to pull pranks on each other?!]

[Her wings stand out, perpendicular to her back, and her shoulders hunch up. So mean, so mean! Nill makes a tiny fist and punches Haine in the arm, then Badou with the other fist. Not hard--she just can't convey how mad she is otherwise.]

[Nill stalks out of Haine's room and into the kitchen. Rifling through the drawers, she comes up with a roll of masking tape and a marker.]

[At least Mihai doesn't actually have to remind Haine of what he's supposed to say. There was a moment when he kept rambling at Badou that he thought it might be necessary, but no. In the end, both of them get the words out, and Nill clearly gets the point.

...So much so that she actually hits them. Even Mihai's taken aback at that, though it's clear she wasn't trying to actually leave a bruise. If that were actually possible.

But when she stalks into the kitchen, Mihai is utterly clueless about what her plan is. He'll stare at the door for a moment, then shake his head at the other two.]

I didn't realize she could actually get mad.

[Badou shoots Haine a look that is JUST SHY of starting something but he'll at least wait until Nill and guns are not within their general vicinity. He's still in a state of semi-shock at actually being hit by Nill, who is usually the sweetest thing this side of candy-coated mother Teresa. It didn't actually hurt or anything but it's the principal of the thing.

He glances wearily at the door.]

I could have lived my whole life without knowing that.

[The punch doesn't hurt, in fact, he hardly felt it, but it's hard to hide a startled look when she actually gets violent (for Nill at least) and storms out of the room. It's pretty obvious she's pissed and the apology is not going to do, but just where does she think she's going?]

[He ignores Badou and Mihai in favor of following her and finding out what she's doing with... masking tape and a marker? Maybe he was worried for nothing. She seems upset, but she hasn't done anything drastic... just yet.]

[Haine find Nill in the kitchen with her tape and marker... pulling all of the leftovers out of the freezer and refrigerator and sorting them into two piles. She's marked some things already, but she's working on the others. One group has been marked 'MR. MIHAI' with said tape, and one group 'MISS NAOTO'.]

[And she is labeling these with great gusto. Good luck trying to stop her tiny raegfit.]
