PLAYED BY: Fabian the Fastman from Senko no Ronde/Wartech
WEAKNESSES: His Persona is mostly self-sustaining; it’ll take a while before it learns anything that could help others apart from tactical support. It’s also pretty horrible in combat anyway; it learns the Drain skills as its only form of actual offense, as well as being weak to all kinds of magic. Very easy to provoke, even if it doesn’t necessarily lead to violence, it’ll put him on the edge pretty quickly. That he isn’t willing to admit what he really feels is kind of bothersome, because most of the time it makes him seem perpetually irritated. Not that its not true.
STRENGTHS: Fortunately, Guy does have enough strong to partially make up the lack of offensive skills. He’s also a pretty sturdy support (magic aside), being resistant to strike and pierce attacks and nulling slash attacks. When he’s not being a support bitch, he’s being a meat shield, really. Particularly assertive, almost stubborn at times, and also independent bdue to spending a lot of time out of home.
WEAPON OF CHOICE: Armblade
PERSONA: Marassa. It’s a scouting-combat Persona. Just that it functions solely as a support kind of Persona, rather than one that can do any actual fighting.

PERSONALITY: Ah, the classic definition of a tsundere personality. Guy more or less fits it. He’s far too easily irritated, though it doesn’t often grow into full-blown anger. It kind of seethes instead, until it gets more than Guy can handle. From there it could become potentially humiliating (for Guy, usually), or violent. Not much in the “friendliness” department. Guy never gave making friends that much deep thought, and thus didn’t really bother improving his social skills. Any relationships he has are largely because the other person was persistent or they somehow clicked together.
Having grown up with a typically stern authority figure father, Guy firmly believes that men should strong, independent, and aloof. He tries hard to emulate it, really. If he liked someone, he’d still rather bite off his own tongue than actually tell them that. The only notable difference is that he at least attempts some acts of niceness towards them. The keyword being attempt. Guy would vehemently deny it anyway, should someone point them out. He’s particularly keen on keeping up the image of being a “tough guy”, though he honestly doesn’t seem much of one. He does admittedly have a soft spot for the kind of people who are very shy or nervous, but once again he doesn’t want it to look too obvious. Says his pride, anyway. And he’s pretty darn prideful when it comes to his own masculinity. He isn’t particularly fond of kids, he usually finds them annoying.
Not an entirely good role model. Guy isn’t entirely a trouble maker, but he won’t argue that he does have delinquent tendencies. Mainly, he lounges around in places other than school, and is rarely at home. Honestly hasn’t really thought about what he’d like to do in the future, and he rather not answer the question any time soon. Overall, he’s capable of being nice and a bit more dignified, but Guy doesn’t care about those things much at the moment.
BACKGROUND: Guy was born in New Orleans to a family consisting of a Cajun father, a Japanese mother and a sister seven years older than him. Not that he looks anything like a Japanese, anyway. He was a very timid and nervous child, and was so intimidated by everyone he had very few friends. The family was otherwise rather normal. Stern authority figure father, mother who would smile and go “ah, is that so?”, and frequent sibling bickering with the sister. Guy usually got the short stick in them.
When he was 12, the family moved all the way back to their mother’s home country. Guy did not adjust too well at first, and his Japanese, though he picked it up quickly, sounded horrible with his accent. Whereas in his old school he just had a tendency to hide behind things, in his new school he suddenly found himself being bullied for speaking so weird. He frequently had to be comforted by his mother whenever it got really bad.
And then one day he finally snapped. Guy and two other boys found themselves in trouble for fighting at school. Luckily, all of them only came got bruises, though one boy got his arm bitten by Guy. The incident gave him a lot more spine. And the impression that he’d have to toughen up if he wanted to get people off his backs.
Late one November, when he was 15, his mother wasn’t back home at her usual time. She called and told them all she’d be a bit late.
She didn’t come back. Someone found her body at the Port Island station in the morning. There were signs she’d gotten injured, but no suspects were listed, at least not to Guy’s knowledge.
After that…falling apart isn’t the word, more like drifted away. His sister suddenly packed her bags and moved out a few weeks after the funeral, without a single word. His father began working longer hours, and they barely exchange words these days. Guy lost interest in his studies, and while by some miracle he actually got into high school, he only attends when he remembers to.
…Now, to figure out what the hell he should do about that green moon business he’s been seeing the past few months. Preferably while ignoring that letter he got some time back. It sounds insane, after all.
