Food Review: Golubsky

If you have not tried this russian dish, I would suggest you do.  We used the recipe we found in JB's  Time Life: Foods of the World series, the Russian cooking edition, substituting out the sauce with the tomato sauce we made the night before (that recipe also from the Time Life series, but the Italian edition).

Though it seemed labor intensive, the results were spectacular.  We have leftover cabbage leaves prepped, so we can easily make more (since it seem the leaves were the most time consuming part of the ordeal).  I'm sure we can cut down on the work the next time we make it... and there will be a next time.  :-)

Another added benefit is that it is really complete meal and pretty inexpensive to make.  Yum!
