I'm still here, for some reason.  I won't bore you with the "I'm going to start writing more", because, simply put, I haven't and I'm tired of being wrong.  Yes, this post starts off with a somewhat poor attitude, but it's something representative of where I am at the moment.   Work is work, and while still not happy with everything, it's not bad

Well, for what it's worth, I actually printed out pay bands for different stores for PetSmart. Same job, yes, but despite all the complaints... a lot of it is location-centric. I like what I do, just not generally how I'm handled, and that comes back to one person. A big drawback for me moving, is my parents. They're right up the road and my dad is actually getting ready for surgery on his shoulder where he'll be out of commission for a few months. I'll be trying to help out with stuff more often, but long term, I fear I'd regret moving away when they're starting to need me more.

As for the recent move, I think I was moving for the wrong reason to Boston, even though I have lots of positives there. I think some of my longing for the city is actually longing for someone else who lives there. I'm not quite ready to move for that, especially since it would most likely never come to pass.

So, I am sitting here, but I'm also analyzing a lot of stuff in my head. I've made a big move, once before, to Penn State and it did wonders for me. I have no doubt that if I were to move again, to the right place, it would also pay dividends. Finding which one though, yeah, that's the tough part. I'll be venting/talking about it on here though. So of course I'll want opinions from valued friends... such as y'all.

Oh, and when's the next visit down for y'all? And would y'all be around sometime during the week of August 15th to the 21st?
