Earth Hour celebration
We prostrate in front of God so that the almighty provides the peace and harmony. Often the rise in temperature in our surrounding environment makes us pesky. Why do we hear the rise in temperate all over the world these days? Today’s Bangalore once called air conditioned city of India is longer the same when I landed here five years back.
Today Earth hour is celebrated all over the world to save our mother earth. All the lights and electrical appliances are supposed to be off for one hour from 8 PM to 9 PM to conserve the electricity and to lower the carbon emission. I was very much instilled with this cognitive content. To spread this word of earth hour, I buzzed all my friends. The replies which I got were uncanny. I was chatting with one of my friend whom I messaged on cell, I hour before the event, when asked about the sms, he replied in a derogatory manner. I guessed that I feeble the efficacy, anyways India is a democratic country so no one can coerce anybody for anything.
When the clock ticket 8 PM, I switched off everything at my home and went for a long and calm walk. Finally I was smug that I added something to save the earth.
