Bring on the Comikaze! June 12th-13th, Here I Come
This Saturday, June 12th, I will be participating in the Australian 24 hour comic challenge called Comikaze. Because I'm not from OZ I don't qualify for a prize, but I am excited to do it for the experience. I am stoked to push my limits and share the process and result with everyone.
I know that I wrote before that Comikaze was happening the weekend of the 5th, but I was corrected, thanks to the help of Liz Argall, who pointed out that it actually happens on my ideal chosen weekend. So I am going forth with that plan and holing up in my studio from 12 noon PST on Saturday the 12th through 12 noon on Sunday the 13th. I will post pages as they are completed, and the whole thing will go up by the afternoon of the 13th. Even more exciting is that I will be streaming the day live. I will post the streaming video on the site on the day of, so please come back to visit sometime that day! You'll be able to chat with me, and if I or one of my co-conspirators is near the computer we can answer some questions (though I will probably be hunched over drawing most of the time). Read more...
