War has changed.

Well, I'm in a pretty weird mood right now because I finished Metal Gear Solid 4. If you look around online, you'll know that this is supposed to be the greatest game of all time. All time. It's getting rave reviews and people are actually admitting to crying during certain parts. I have always been a Metal Gear fan. Ever since Metal Gear Solid came out for the Playstation in 1998 I have loved all the games. I never played the original ones that came out in the eighties, but thats because I didn't grow up in Japan. I have actually played through MGS4 twice now. It still does nothing for me. Sigh. I don't get it. It should make me feel all weird inside but it doesn't. The rest of them did. Heck after I beat Metal Gear Solid 3 I basically stood up and saluted the t v. I think hearing so much about the game before it came out ruined it for me. I was excited about playing it, but I was also tired of hearing about it. That's the problem with working at a video game store. That's why lately the games I've enjoyed the most have been silly games like Lego Indiana Jones, The Incredible Hulk, Hellboy: The Science of Evil and others. Just because no one talks about those much because they aren't like "hardcore" games. Grand Theft Auto IV? I'll pass, I'd rather play through all six Star Wars movies made completely out of Legos. So I don't know. I just feel a little weird because people are calling MGS4 a masterpiece, and I'm like... "Meh, its good."

Hellboy II: The Golden Army, and The Dark Knight are looking better and better each day. I'm getting pretty excited. I think after those, there isn't much else worth looking forward to. Please let me know if I'm missing something important though. I can't ever remember everything thats coming out. (I do mean movies too. There are things to look forward to. Just not movies.)
