I'm really excited to go back to school. I need to buy my textbooks, and I know it's going to cost so much. I miss city life, and I want to explore Boston more this semester.
This episode of SVU is really weird. This is how I summed it up to Manda: this woman principal molests her students because she has some tumor and she was molested as a child and then it ends when we find out she's pregnant by the 12 year old boy and he thinks he's in love with her. Whoa. WHat just happened there? But, the plus of this episode is that the woman who played Michael Alig's mom in Party Monster plays the alcoholic mother of the victim. Excellent.
I saw Memoirs of a Geisha today with my Mimi. It was very pretty, and both Michelle Yeoh and Zhang Ziyi looked gorgeous, just beautiful. Ok, IMDB tells me Ziyi switched her name around. Anyway, I think it was OK, and I really like how it showed the pros and cons of life as a geisha. The not quite happy ending was pretty nice. I think I may get around the reading the book eventually.
