It´s time for another entry ^__^ Although I should be very busy with my diploma thesis right now >_>
So what happened during the last week.. On Saturday I left my boyfriend´s place and took the train to my family´s home. That´s were I am now ^_^ My cousin had a birthday so we visited him and I finally got to see his apartment where he lives for already more than a year >_> We went bowling together with some of his friends and it was really funny. We were too many people so we built teams. I was in a team with my mom and we were the worst team in the first game because she never ever managed to hit something. The second game was better though, I think it was because we used another bowling ball XD
On Sunday I met with some friends who I haven´t seen for a long while, this was really nice. Also my grandparents came to visit us and since the weather was great we sat in our big garden and ate cake *yay* That´s what I love about being at home :-)
My sister got an interesting thing as birthday present: It´s called Speedminton. There are two rackets, they look like a mixture of a Squash- and a Badminton-racket (do you call that racket anyway?!) and you are playing with kind of a shuttlecock, except that it is a little bit smaller and heavier. It´s quicker than Badminton and you can even play it when there is wind. The best part are the light-sticks: they are glowing and you can put them into the shuttlecocks. The rackets are painted in fluorescent colors and they are glowing in the dark as well as the shuttlecock which makes it fun to play it at night. I really want to have this, too ^___^
Now that I am at home I was finally able to upload the last of my holiday-pictures. So here you go with holiday-pics part 2:
The gigantic dam wall. It was about 200 m high O_O
Me on that dam wall XD Some strange creatures on a town-festival Huge rocks on our way onto a mountain. Please note my tiny family at the foot of that rock ^_^
I couldn´t take enough pictures of those rocks And I even had to touch them XD View into the valley. In the background you can see Italy´s Dolomites and that is no river down there but the expressway to Italy ^_^
My family looking into the valley. Please note the tiny tower in the upper right part of the picture, that was our destination on that day.
Another breathtaking view into the valley. Seriously, you had to be very free from giddiness on that tour.
Here is the "tiny" tower again. Unfortunately the weather quickly got worse when we had reached the mountain-top.
Me enjoying my break ^_~ And finally another view into the valley on the other side of the mountain. In the background you can see three lakes.
I bet you want to go to Austria on your next holiday after you´ve seen those pictures ^_~ I really enjoyed it and I want to go there again.
But now some less pleasant news: I am worrying about my boyfriend. About a week ago he lost the vision on his right eye. He went to some doctors and they diagnosed an infection of his optic nerve. Now he gets cortisone-infusion every day, but his eye only got slightly better. The doctor said that his eye won´t be the same as before again and that he can be lucky if he is able to see something at all. But that´s not all: yestersday my boyfriend told me that he has to go to hospital and stay there because his doctor assumes he has something like multiple sclerosis O_O It´s not exactly MS but his immune-system seems to attack some parts of his own body which causes those infections. I really hope they can help him and it doesn´t get worse...
I´ll keep my fingers crossed for him. The only thing I can do is support him mentally. Meanwhile I will go on writing my diploma thesis, meeting old friends and fangirling with you :-)
