Oh! This is really lovely!

I was looking through my prompts the other day and really, really hoped my writer would choose this one. :)

It's perfect for the season, isn't it? I love that Gwen realizes that she and Jack aren't so different when it comes to dealing with death, even though Jack will go through it so many more times. (Though Gwen has certainly come near death a fair amount in the series.) I don't know if you liked S4, but this fits in with the way they interact later, too.

I'm really glad that you liked what I wrote :-) It does fit nicely with the current season.

I was disappointed with season 4 in general but there were some moments in it which I really enjoyed, the relationship between Gwen and Jack was one of them :-)

I really liked this! I especially liked this line: Are mortal human beings like the trees’ leaves to you? - I could actually see that analogy working quite well for Jack, sadly. ;__;

This was a really nice look into Gwen's mindset after Suzie though - I completely enjoyed it. :)

Yay, I'm glad you liked it! As I mentioned I had the basic idea written down already which was the inner monologue bit of the story (not sure if you could tell?). The rest I constructed around it during my lunchbreak today :-D I need to read the stories of the other writers within the next couple of days, I look forward to it! :-)

And it felt really good to write again.
