My Mouse Needs Cleaning!
*snicker* Okay I just thought that would make a humorous subject line. That's about how advanced my thoughts are this morning,.. er, afternoon.
I slept sooo long this morning. I think it's the "Cool air". I slept from 0130 till 10:50 - that's alot for me. And by "Cool air" I mean in the 50's at night in Florida, and here it is after noon and it's not yet pushed through to 65 locally. I feel like going and getting some soup for lunch!
Work yesterday was a long day, but a good day. I keep hearing things like "You should have been here YESTERDAY" followed by a dramatic story of what I "missed". I told one of them that they should only work the same days I do, because I am a good luck charm and that kinda stuff just doesn't happen to me.
I stayed till 11:15pm, when the on-call nurse came in to finish recovering a "circular saw vs. hand" patient. What's so cool lately is, I keep seeing surgeons that I used to work with ten years ago in North Dade, and they're always so pleasant. Like "Hey, I know you!" Even though the county is huge, the surgery people eventually run into each other again and again. And it gives me a nice sense of competence, because he knew I would take care of his patient well. It's all good.
Well - I think I shall go get some chinese soup. It's just that kinda day,.. hot and sour soup would hit the spot .... Hope you are having an excellent Thursday. I have errands to do but I don't feel like doing anything productive.. LOL
