Up Late - the movie W - I need JAVA
I fell asleep early last night and then was subjected to channel surfing during the late hours ... Dave Letterman, Craig Ferguson, Conan .. it seems like everyone had a guest promoting the new movie "W" (about the life of George W Bush). The first, on Dave, was the actress playing Laura Bush, the scene when she and George met. I forget who was on Craig Ferguson, I just watch him because I love the Scottish accent. And Conan, (who annoys the sh!t out of me) was interviewing LL Cool J (I paid attention to that) and then Oliver Stone, who directs W. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1175491/
So I saw like two or three clips from the movie "W", and in each one of them, they showed the actor Josh Brolin doing an amazing George Dubya, but always talking and eating at the same time. And he (Josh Brolin) carries it off really well. But it's like I'm laying there going, "Does the character ever not talk with his mouth full of food?" LOL
Oliver Stone was interesting to listen to. He's well aware that with W's popularity tanking right now, people might go "oh, movie about bad President, thumbs down on the movie" but it's not about hating the movie. He is telling a story and he makes a point, just because it's the end of his second term, he's not going to disappear, he'll still be around and influencing people and doing business deals; God knows his policies will be around for some time. :\
Anyway, I severely need coffee this morning. I slept great from 10pm-midnight and like crap after that. I ran out of half and half and I just can't do black coffee. So I'm off the Farm Stores in my Miami Heat pj pants because that's all I can muster up and I don't have to get out of the car to hand over $2.50 for a thing of half and half. I love me some Farm Stores. I believe it's a southern thang.
