I am mentally and emotionally equipped to enjoy a prosperous and loving life. I claim my good now.

Travel yesterday went fairly easy, one little delay but nothing like flying through the midwest could have been like. Ouch! Lots of loss of life out there :( (according to USA Today)

I am grateful for friendly roommates, the lady from Birmingham I'd worked with before is rooming with me for this job. This is only a week or so commitment, and we have today off. So we're getting off our bums and going shopping, of course. :)

I am grateful for safe and efficient travel (I got a window seat), for bosses with amnesia (my previous pre-emptive exit from the other gig seems to have no bearing on my status here), for nice accomodations and free in room Starbucks, for friends, for my family emailing every day with excitement over Christmas trip details, for the ability to change airline tickets so I don't have to keep criss crossing the United States, for an easy shopping list (I-Tunes cards, Best Buy cards, etc), for lovely book stores with stuffed cushions and lovely coffee, for free time, books to read, for text messages, for fearless dining alone when traveling. I think most everything is going to go smoothly about this gig and then I am 'outta here' for the rest of the year focused 100% on friends and family. I can't tell you the number of holidays I have worked and missed out on gatherings, or had to leave early. I am very grateful to be a subcontractor type and in charge of my schedule :) Wheee!

I'm off to see the wizard.. have a great day everyone :)
