Next Book Lust
There's always a 'next book' we want, right? Even before we are done reading the one we've got.
I was looking more at Michael Mirdad's site... he had said the most fun exciting, community building thing he does all year long is the Universal Lightworker's Conference in November. Two years ago it was held in Orlando, last year it was in Boca, and I just found out the next one is in Ft Lauderdale! (very close to me) It's not even updated on their page yet for some reason. (I think he said the third Saturday.. thats close to my magic double 4-4 birthday! lol)
Anyway, as I am looking at at this info, I keep noticing this name over and over - Barbara Rose. She's a keynote speaker along with Michael at the event and it had a link to her web page. Ahhh! I was simultaneously chatting with a gf about her "man problems" and here is the name of her book - Stop Being the String Along: A Relationship Guide to Being THE ONE.
I read through a couple of pages on Amazon and decided this is the book for both she and I. We seem to have parallel issues with self-worth, overeating, and picking the wrong men. :-) Well, I am ready to read it, I don't know if she is. That's okay.
This is probably one of the few times I've seen a book on Amazon have a straight five star rating. (lightworkers stick together I guess) I think it was cool she also had a title that has to do with 'sacred relationships'. I like this paradigm - a highly spiritual, respectful, though not necessarily married - union.
Anyway her other book is Know Yourself: A Woman's Guide to Wholeness, Radiance & Supreme Confidence .
And one the becomes available in September 2006 is If God Hears, Me I Want an Answer!
