Reiki July 6
7-7-07 Today I say yes to all that is good.
Entering my reiki school/crystal shop place, well the first thing that I often feel is a profound sense of peace. The incense and oils just smell so good, and you feel like you can just take a deep breath and *be*. It might sound nuts, but she has this giant open brass pyramid set up in there, in the middle of the room. Often when someone comes into the shop, even if they don't want to buy anything, they can just sit in the big chair under the pyramid and get a very peaceful feeling.
The other thing is, if when we are giving reiki, I'm standing on the side of the room where all the crystals are, I'm extremely warm and get pitted. Some people get dizzy giving reiki on that side of the room. The crystal side of the room is a very powerful area!
I have noticed the last couple times going to the reiki store I get extremely giddy when I go in there. I'm just hyped, talking, laughing ... it's pretty great, actually. Blissed.
Last night was no exception, and several people around me were getting giggly, too, before the speaker started. I was sitting next to one of the other reiki masters who is usually very serious and she kept whispering to me while our reiki master teacher was speaking. I was almost wanting to quiet her, since our RM was talking about the http://www.firethegrid.com thing .. so I put my hand on her back to help her settle a little.
The funny thing is last night, I was getting a super high and ungrounded feeling just sitting there. I had just eaten dinner, but I felt ravenous for a burger and my head was spacy. After a bit, I whispered to my friend, "I am getting so spacy" and slipped my shoes off. Placing my feet directly on the floor seemed to help, and then as a joke, she stepped gently on top of my foot and held my knee with her hand like she was gonna tether me to earth. But ya know, ... the hunger went away, and the spaciness came under control. And we weren't even sitting by the crystals last night.
At the break, I was asking an friend of mine, D., who is real expert about crystals and symbols, about the Eye of Horus, and also "angel wing" or "fish tail" selenite. He stops me and goes "Do you smell a cigarette?" Well I didn't but I was like "Maybe you're smelling my Dad, he comes to reiki with me sometimes"... lol... (that's how I know when he is around, I smell a cigarette). I ended up giving reiki to D. later, another fellow master. I've received reiki from him and his hands are huge and very warm, so I was feeling blessed to be able to share back to him this time. I have pretty big hands and long fingers for a woman, but doing the heart blessing on top of his hands, mine look puny. :)
We just graduated a new class of 'advanced practictioners' including one of them is 16, I think, and he is just a gem to have in our circle. Another has such an angelic voice, she is a great addition to our singing at the end of the evening. She looks like one of those "incarnated fairies" Doreen Virtue talks about, like a pixie. And all the new AP's were glowing with pride last night, it was just fantastic. I love how our group is maturing and elevating - together.
Oh. Another thing. I was thinking "yea, I'll get my healing room going but it's not like I have any clients..." Well, one of the AP's last night approached me and asked me if I had a table yet. She is interested in me giving reiki to a midwife friend of hers. I mentioned the synchronicity of that to her and she said "Yeah, I didn't plan to ask you, it just popped into my head when I saw you."
So now we have talked about manifesting me a table. :) This woman actually does painting and remodeling, and found me a discarded bookshelf once. I'll bet between the two of us, we can score a table!
