I was wondering... there are some authors who say that as we each develop our spiritual muscles, we attract others to us that are also in that phase of their life. Have you attracted clients, coworkers, opportunities to you which are more aligned with that part of you

Wow, I love your energy with that. It's a very powerful thing, working with people or animals or issues that *matter* to you, even on a part time basis. I have no doubt you attract more of what enriches your spirit. Cool.

It's a problem when socializing though.

Most people are unsatisfied with their careers and they don't seem to get, or want to get what I do, and that I'm happy.

Even though I say I am happy, people still moan, "Thank God it's Friday" to me and it's really draining.

I can't talk to many people about what I do for a living except for those I deal with directly.

The only one, in real life, who realizes how glamourous my job is, is my boyfriend :)

Are these people just upset with their life, or are you feeling they are upset with you because you're not miserable along with them?

I think it's quite possible that you and your boyfriend may start attracting people to you who are also... balanced and grateful for their lifework. It's the old Law of Attraction... hehe!

Right now Im really happy with the career that has been "forced" onto me. I really didnt intend for this to happen - and its nowhere near the specialism that I studied at Uni - but nevertheless I ended up here.

What I do find is that there are so many people who are in their career transitions themselves that come and take teaching from my school.

Its an honour, and after all the pushing and shoving I have done over the years against this vein of career, its turns out I have had no choice in the matter but to do it. And it has made me so thankful and so very happy.

Oh yes! Double YES YES!

Since I've been on this wonderful path I'm getting more and more web design clients that are into health and wellbeing. Natural Awakenings magazine, a bio-feedback theripist, einstein brain center, and lots more. I'm attracting people and clients that are right on track with my vibration....it didn't happen overnight, but let me tell you it's happening more and more.

It's so cool! I LOVE IT!

My whole carreer has changed focus and direction.

You're in graphic design right? That's awesome .. I love Natural Awakenings magazine! They distribute it at Whole Foods and my reiki shop here. Natural Awakenings, and another similar magazine that is more regional to Florida - called Horizons. I was just emailing with the editor from that recently.

I do find more and more opportunities to chat with people about Reiki and about the products I've been making. I think if YOU are open, then those of like mind will somehow find you. For instance, I was talking to someone in Borden a while back... that's 6 hours driving time away... it was business. We've never talked before. yet by the end of the call, she was telling me to please let her know when my next Reiki Level 1 class would be!!!

I feel I'm in transition of some sort yes. There are certain ducks which must be alligned, but it's happening. :o)

Just for today.....
