I havent done a 'big fat check ritual' in a long dang time, have I even done one in calif?
anyway i had to come back here to check out the archives and look it up. and I apologize my left side keyboard shift key is wonky so alot of things that might normally be capitalized, are not. unless I go back and edit and really mash the key.
anyway. the fact that march 20 was an equinox and march 22 is the new moon, and it falls right on a thursday (day of jupiter = expansion), aw heck why not. I'll need to fetch me some mint this evening, and find my moss agate.

This is from that somewhat cheeky book called Hex and the City - p 116 this is called the BIG FAT CHECK ritual ..
On a Thursday Night near the New Moon, place a handful of fresh mint and some shiny coins in a bowl of spring water. With a moss agate crystal, trace [wiccan - an earth-invoking pentagram ; if you're not into that, I'm sure the reiki symbol of increase and empowerment would be fine, too] but the book says pentagram .. in the water and say :
"As the moon grows
So shall this spell grow
So shall my wealth grow
What I need shall come to me
By earth; By air; By water; By fire;
So shall it be done,
So shall it be done,
So Shall it be done,
It is."
Put the crystal in the water and leave the bowl outside, under the moon, until the moon turns full. By then the crystal will have absorbed the energy from the water and herbs. Take the crystal out and wrap it in a soft cloth. Whenever you wish to activate it, give it a rub and visualize what you need the money for. You may need to re-energize the crystal every now and then by repeating the above ritual.
