Back to the hectic
Maybe I shouldnt use that word. I guess that's how I set it up. I leave in an hour for work, my clothes & scrubs are still in the dryer, bed still unmade, need to call Mom, shower, eat something, etc etc etc.
When I went home to visit, I took a nap nearly daily. Started dreaming again! Came back so rested!
And it's been nonstop since I landed back here again. Fun, active, good stuff, .. just busy.
One of my classes will be done soon, that will help. I'd really like to write down a nice "what I am learning" metaphysical type LJ entry .. maybe this weekend. I'd like to read all of your LJs. I'd like to update the chip in my phone without losing all my current data. This weekend. See if my new bedding fits the darn bed. This weekend.
Oh yeah. And my mom waited till I got home to tell me "oh. I have to have a tiny procedure (hand surgery) on June 9th but your sister will take me and I didnt want to tell you before your trip because I knew you would have wanted to change your ticket,..." When I told other nurses at work about that, their reaction was pretty much the same as mine: A gaping mouth open :O Apparently some of them have mothers that minimize and neglect to inform, also. Never mind that she has COPD, is on oxygen, and the surgeon wants to put her under general anesthesia,.. Jesus Joseph and Mary. Take a firehose to put out a candle, will ya? *grumps* HELLO!! regional anesthesia, people. Just put the arm to sleep, leave the lungs alone....
