Hey.

So I grew up.

I'm barely 40 and a RE/MAX agent in New Westminster. I still do whatever I want, but I no longer carry much angst.

I did end up getting a house which it seems was a long term goal of mine here.

I am married, but have no children. Maybe I will some day.

I stopped playing music about 5 years ago. There just isn't much reward for the hard work anymore. I had so much fun with it and met great people. Great people met other great people and got married, had kids, got divorced. All through our shows back in the day. I haven't sold my bass guitar gear.

Lucas died (the singer from Bushleague the first band that I was in).

Looking at live journal I remember when the internet was in its wild west years and really wish it still was. The best times we ever had on here were back when text was king and people WANTED to find each other. Now it's about privacy or likes. In the early 2000s it was about connection and community. We all met so many friends. I met my wife on the internet (though much later).

If only LJ was cool again. I would probably have more friends. Looking back at the people commenting on my posts they were all great friends of mine in their own way whether online or in real life. Find me if you miss me, but it's ok if you don't life moves past.

I have a great life. I won't complain. I listen to loud music until 3 in the morning whenever I want. I eat well. I'm in reasonable shape. I still play hockey -more than once a week. Oh and I rescue and foster lots of cats and do cat charity work. That's me if anyone ever finds this again.
