the show... Waiting For Roger
So buffalo club last night turned out to be a good show. I will bullet point a few things that are of interest at least passingly.
-the place was absolutely packed and it was great
-we were very well received
-our shirts were well received
-even music geeks like our new style
-roger didn't show up (still waiting..)
-Todd Kerns and JMP were there (our new production group)
-the guy from hot hot heat was there
-Todd said there were tonnes of industry types there and they kept harassing him
-we were seen by tonnes of industry types
-my mom bitched out the promoter
-2001 flavours pizza was great as per usual
-the girl/boy ratio was huge
-i was flattered by some members of other bands saying i was their favorite part of the show
On another note we will be opening for Ian Thornley at City Limits in abbotsford next month on the 21st. Tickets from ticketmaster. It is a big deal to us to open for large radio acts. Feels like we are moving forward. Also we will be recording the NEW album starting in a few weeks.
