Rest easy child; lay down your head against my shoulder before you can weep
Quiet your whimper tomorrow will come at a price that is not too great for any
What you feel is not your own, your thoughts will be put to ease in time once and for all
Tomorrow will never be the worst of things; if anything, it will be the best of things
The faces and smiles you see through the window are not your own but do not fret
Rest easy at night be thankful before you sleep for all that you have and all who care
Do not wish to be the people seen in the window because then you would not be you
You would be giving up all that you are and have to offer to be something you are not
To not cry sitting at the head of the empty table as the cold windy night continues to die
All will pass in due time, and whatever we lose will one day be gained in full once again
That which we lose in time only takes time to be recovered once more to be cherished
Do not sit on the floor wondering where the day went, but relax and enjoy the peace
Enjoy the day given to us each and everyday to be spent to the last drop like a cold drink
The days of yesterday will always come back to visit once more, do not be anxious
Do not wish tomorrow before it arrives, because you will only cut tomorrow in half
Patience is not easily gained or spent just as work is not finished and done in one day
The more time spent on something, the better the end result will be when you are done
Fight back those tears as you weight by the empty ringer and the lonely door
Who will come if no one is invited on that day, and who will invite you they cannot see
Do not let your thoughts run wild as you wit quietly waiting for the clock to run faster
But instead take time to remember those forgotten and those not visited in a long time
Do not neglect your Eye or brother as you wait in the quiet room for something to happen
Do not be scared of tomorrow child, the young man is never too far from your side
The young man can always wait a few minutes for you to get ready to leave outside
Never think that there is not time left, because tomorrow will always come but not fast
It is as patient as you are waiting for the longest of days to end in the blink of an eye
Or is as quick as the best day of the year forgetting about when the sun sets and rises
Do not ignore the filled shelves waiting to be visited or the abundance of information
Fear not the words that feel like a sharp knife, but are really nothing more than words
In a split second you will leave with the young man and that day can never be seen
The days cannot be counted down and if they are, they will never be enjoyed to the fullest
Instead they will dwindle down with every stare at the watch and glance at the calendar
Remember that the moments spent today only arrive once in a blue moon so don’t miss it
Do not miss the moments that lasted but a second, but remember them and treasure them
Send them on a journey that will take a lifetime to complete as the story is born again
As for the young man, not much can be said to you because you are but a novice today
Do not lower your head as you walk thinking that you are below the crowd but walk tall
Walk as a giant amongst men, never saying a word but letting others see all that you are
As much confusion as you are filled with right now, always remember the better times
Not the ones left behind, that cannot be revisited but the even better ones that are to come
Always remember that you make your own path in this life, don’t try to follow others
As much as it hurts to feel alone on your journey, know that you never are too far away
That the things you feel will be felt by all and that nothing felt is ever wrong to feel
Child and Young man remember that you both have hearts, share them to the fullest
