Summer Moot

So that was the moot.
We struck the guild in lightning speed, had things very nicely set up and over all are an amazing team to work with.
I won't really say much about James' plot. The fights were hard and very lethal. They led to a lot of intense situations on the battle field. I found the impact they had on night time activity was a negative one but am interested to see what it does long term for the system.

HOT:
* Erin, Van and Brock. They are players who make me proud to know them. Every time I saw them they did awesome stuff.
* Henry. Is keen and enthusiastic and I am confident of news in the next few weeks.
* The above and the guild take down. I asked them to do the guild take down. I went away for 20 minutes. I came back to find the guild had been entirely packed into Henry's car and had already been taken off site. Just..wow...
* Invoking and physicianing and saving a lot of players lives.
* Saturday post 1am and playing "matchsticks"
* My new apprentice.
* Getting vast amounts of my to-do list done.
* Shirley. Dear gods Shirley is AWESOME!!!!
* Keenness from the CotS re: Karen and the G.
* The martial guilds team.
* Having a notebook.
* Liss cake. So many calories. So good. Don't want to know the recipe...will feel guilty.

NOT:
* The Owen situation. It's cooling fast. I'm guessing it'll fizzle. Given the work that Tony did the character deserved more.
* Liss' knee.
* Doing tasks that needed to happen for the guild without players following me to learn. Attendance was pretty low from where I was sitting. Normally I have a core of players with a couple of randoms around. This weekend I had around 6 militia players and very few, if any, randoms. This meant that I couldn't really give out tasks because it would lead to the guild being abandoned by players. Also a lot of my jobs were things I needed to do myself (mostly training people IC so that I could give them training vouchers) and I didn't even have enough players to reliably take 2 of them with me diploming for the above reason.
* Being a solo NPC without any forewarning. The militia players offered great support but officially being on your own is subconsciously wearing/draining and it's only now that I think about it that I realise it was weighing on me.
* Feeling jet lagged because I got home the evening of rather than the morning after.

Over all, I still don't know if I enjoyed the weekend. It was objectively successful and I had fun bits but I don't think I very really "felt" it.

lrp, update
