I went to see Christopher Guest, Harry Shearer and Michael McKeon play last night and it was great. It was interesting, because the purpose of the show was to (and follow this one) play songs that they wrote for characters, out of character and as themselves... acoustically. Now what this meant was... Michael and Harry spoke and Christopher played every instrument known to god and man. It was fantastic! They played all the hits, and not hits. Annette O'Toole jammed with the band. There was a rolling cheese contest, singing Legos and the best question ever in the Q & A period.
Am so glad I went out and got some culture. God help me, Wagner is next!
