Soooooo glad I saw it alone as opposed to the alternative (with my mother or with a kid who probably wouldn't have enjoyed it and talked through the whole thing I would have had to not mind).
Dude, noirs are fucking sexy and I wish I could write that sort of dialogue. ...Although, I think this one does win for randomly having this conversation:
"You read Tolkien?"
"What?"
"You know, the Hobbit books?"
"Yeah."
"His descriptions are really good. He makes you wanna be there."
Did I mention this was between a druglord and his latest minion? And that the dealer's played by Lucas fucking Haas? What gives?
I can't believe that the lead's the kid from "Ten Things." What the fuck? I hated myself for saying "He needs to play Keith." Epecially when I found out he's a year younger than my brother. I'd feel bad having him play Keith, and now knowing who he is could just as easily say "Holy shit, there's Neil." Weird.
In other news I'm completely bonkers and trying to console myself any way I can. Fuck. I really hate this shit. I hate the fact that I know how this is going to end and I can't stand this shit just perpetuating. FUCK.
