Off to the land of spicy food, pandas, and giant Buddhas!!
Sichuan!! Today we're leaving for Sichuan!!
I'm sorry I didn't finish my posts about Yunnan, but I'll finish them soon, I swear. In the meantime, today we're taking a 25 hour train ride to get from Beijing to Sichuan. Then, I'm not sure what! But I do know that we're going to a panda reserve where you can take pictures with pandas! (1000 RMB for a baby [$150], 400 RMB for an adult [$50] and 100 RMB for a red panda [$15, and probably the one I'm going to do!]). Also going to see the largest Buddha in all of China, as well as hot springs and just general relaxing.
After a week of midterms, I'm so excited that we're leaving! At the same time, I realize this is my fourth and final trip during my year here in China! Perhaps though we may be making a trip to Hong Kong or Taiwan... we'll see though.
