hey guess what you guys? leaves really do change color!!!! both on the shuttle bus to the Mt vernon campus and on my way walking to Dupont Circle (by mySELF because everyone else had class or work or crew practice or what have you. humph.), the street were lined with trees. and this is always awesome, but today it was as though every fourth tree or so said to itself you know what? i'm going to have the outer reaches of my branches explode in a riot of color (riot of color... what is that from? thinking... thinking... oh, geez, it's not Titanic is it? NO! no, i remember, it's from A Knight's Tale. ok. i can deal with that). no kidding, it's like fireworks by the side of the road. i undoubtadely had this giant stupid grin on my face both as i rode the shuttle and as i walked down the street, but it doesn't matter 'cause there are SEASONS happening, you guys!!! also, it was a really pleasant day today; i didn't even need a jacket to walk to Dupont. lovely. AND little kids are going to trick-or-treat to our dorm (i need to buy a silly hat, i think) AND they're playing Rocky Horror on Friday and Saturday nights AND i don't have to dissect a pig fetus for a WHOLE WEEK. yay.
