Writing from Toronto, talking about movies and stuff
For some quick background info, since the evening of August 14th I've been visiting with Keri at her home in Toronto. I'll be bunking out here with her family (and some of my own) until heading home on the 27th.
We've done quite a bit of stuff already but mostly in this entry I just want to mention what we've been watching. Over the past few days we've watched the movies Kick-Ass, Elysium, District 9, and X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Kick-Ass and Elysium were my ideas and Keri suggested the other two. I hadn't watched any of them before now and enjoyed all of 'em (even Wolverine), so now we're hoping to catch Kick-Ass 2 and the Wolverine in theatres at some point this week.
Beyond the various movies we've also been watching the Anime the Devil is a Part-Timer!. Even just after 6 episodes it's easy to see why the show was so popular last season. Good comedy, nice action, and great characters. Really getting a kick outta it. ^^
