[OOC] Info Post!
OH HAI THERE!
Aura here with Delirium of the Endless! I decided I had the necessary boredom free time to get this going, so here I am, typing. Yeah. Watch me go.
Anyway, let's go through the basics:
Del comes from The Sandman series; she along with Death, Dream, Destiny, Destruction, Desire and Despair are the Endless, a rather dysfunctional family of embodiments of cosmic forces. Sort of. For all means and purposes, Del is AU to Didi, and obviously Didi is AU to Del (as there was a Del around some time before mine); this doesn't really matter, but it's worth to point out.
Delirium (called Mania by the Greeks, which means insanity, madness, craziness), reigns over insanity, obviously. This shows on her demeanor, which is erratic, unfocused, and a bit confusing. Del does make sense when talking, and can even explain stuff pretty well, but the time and effort required to do that is usually a lot. She's from the end of The Sandman, which gives me a less unbalanced character to work with (and for you to deal with), but still, she's a cute ball of randomness, so be patient with her. Or not, that's up to you.
Hence, she can induce any level of insanity upon a target (or number of targets). This goes from making you see flying frogs to taking you through a hellish ride on a world of pain and darkness where ten legged demons rip your skin apart, making you feel every detail of it. Suffice to say, Del has no reason to use her powers on anyone (or to put it in a better way, it isn't in her nature to hurt anyone "just because", so the second example is so not going to happen). Del is attracked to insane people, and by insane I mean anything from the creepy-scary wacky dude that talks to his dead mother to...Artie? It's an useful example.
So she would probable glue to him every time he is nearby. Which is awesome.
On that note, when she is around of that sort of people, Del might either reduce their levels of insanity or increment them, depending on her own mood.Being the Sort Of A Goddess she is, it means her power can reach pretty much anyone, but I gotta ask:
Would any of your characters be partially/totally immune to Del's powers?
I also want to say right now that any use of her powers will happen only after OOC confirmation; last thing I want is to make anyone uncomfortable.
On the other side, some people are all for the insanity, so I also gotta ask.
Would you like to have Del messing with your character? It would require some OOC coordiation as well.
And lastly, being what she is, would someone have a conflict of powers with her? Mind readers, precogs, reality manipulators, illusionists, those might not get their mojo going on Del, or around her.

There is a handy OCD so you can let me know in advance how do you want do this. If you have the time, please leave your comment! I will ask everyone for anything she does anyway, but it's better to have a list prepared in advance.
