Armageddon feed- brief discription of the panel
O.K., I caught a brief piece of the the Atlantis panel on the Armageddon website. It all went by very quickly so the summery I'm giving is not the complete text, but only the discussion as I remember it. Here it goes...
I tuned in right in the middle of a question about watching television vs reading (I think).
David Hewlett: " Baz is glued. We can leave him in front of the tv for hours.it's great!"
Kavan: "Parenting 101"
Andi Fizzel (discussed several of the books she is reading, and that she already read 3 of the 4 books she brought with her) "I read in the car.
Kavan: "while driving?"
Andi "during traffic jams."
Kavan "I think your causing the traffic jams. ( I think he mentioned being surprised people haven't gotten angry at her in traffic)
Andi: (referring her tall stature) "Who would fight me?"
Kavan put up his hand, thought about it a minute, and put it back down.
David: "Just to wrap up the three of us watch too much tv (he, Kavan and Gary Jones) and Andi reads well driving. Did that answer the question?"
Someone asked David if understood all of Mckay's dialog and if it bothered him when they got the science wrong.
David: "It does bother me when the science is wrong, but I have to say it anyway b/c they pay me. Sometimes when we ADR they'll asked me to change the line so the science is right and I'm like- I told you on the day! Why are you making me change it now, my lips are moving different! Most of the time Stargate gets it right, but there are times I want to bang my head against a wraith set and say Why, WHY?"
