"Like Daffyd, "the only gay in the village" and hell-bent to prove it. Or Vicky Pollard, the dimwit teenager who says "no but yeah" all the time (and lots of British slang) while pushing around her six kids "from seven blokes." Most of "Little Britain," conceived and played with a flair for genius by Matt Lucas and David Walliams, delights in the grotesque, absurd and the base, with periodic stops at silly (like when a man walks into an art gallery and says, "I'm looking for a painting of a disappointed horse") and painful (when good-natured Lou gives his all to wheelchair-bound Andy, a bitter, slow boy who actually can walk quite well when Lou's not looking)."
Not to be a drag, but here's another uproarious British comedy that may be a tough sell for us Yanks I wish I had a TV. I'd so be watching this show. It's hilarious!
