"Twilight" Soundtrack
So, I checked out the soundtrack to Twilight the other day while visiting people at B&N on my lunchbreak (my temp job is pretty close to the store). I was decidedly unimpressed with the overall selection (especially because I'm not too keen on Paramore and I cannot STAND Linkin Park). So, I've been compiling my own playlist. Some of it has come from Stephenie Meyer's suggestions on her website, but most are culled from my own library and the good stuff on the soundtrack:

^Because as much as this band annoys me, I have WSOU nostalgia for this song, it's actually decent, and it's about vampires! And, as my friend Lauren at STNJ said, you really have to have this band associated with this book/movie.
**Anyone who's read Stephenie Meyer knows that her obsession with Muse might even trump mine with U2.
++He is awesome, and he's Edward, so gotta show the love. shaneworshipsu2 posted a couple mp3s of him performing live a while ago, and I must say - I would love to hear a full album.
I still can't believe they only have "Clair de Lune" as a bonus track on the iTunes download. If there is one song I associate with that series, it's that.
In other news, I've been filling out online applications all day. Every one EXCEPT for Yale has been a breeze for the most part. I'm having issues just accessing that one! Leave it to the Ivys to be difficult. *sighs*
