SO! I'm back! Yes, I realize I've been back for more than 2 weeks, but I'm lazy when it comes to dial-up modems. I'm working on getting a cable modem, but my dad just switched to digital cable, so it's all incremental.
I've been doing the typical Jersey thing, with the exception of being BLISSFULLY UNEMPLOYEED! Although that will probably change sooner rather than later (I'll be a Starbucks barista soon-ish most likely), but I'm enjoying being a bum for the first time in...well, a really, really long time. Though I was sick with a cold and a fever for most of last week, but that just gave me more excuses to watch Audrey Hepburn movies. Plus, I've been glued to the TV watching the Katrina aftermath coverage. Wow...this is the greatest proof *ever* that people should NEVER rely on the government to do anything to help them. More proof that if you're poor, no one cares about your well being. *sighs*
Anyway, I have done *some* fun stuff. The first day home Appy and I went to the Yankee game, where they won 10-1 and we left once the rain started. Then we had Thai food for dinner and Italian desserts afterwards in Alphabet City. Then Campus Buzz, which I now no longer co-host. That's horribly sad, but all good things must come to an end. My last show at WSOU will have it's finalized date soon as well.
Liezl actually had her last show last night, and both Rachael and I made her cry on air. Scotty P is done on Saturday. I can't believe I soon won't be a WSOU staff member anymore...
I made my Summer 2005 Mix and my Campus Buzz Bands 2005 Mix the other day. They may be the best mixes I've ever complied.
