So, zebraic and I watched Trainspotting and Touch of Pink last night. Two realizations:

1) As Cary Grant (portrayed very amusingly by Kyle MacLaughlan) is Alim's "spiritual guide" in the latter, we decided Katharine Hepburn is my spiritual guide and Ernest Hemingway is Richard's.
2) Renton (Ewan McGregor) says at one point in Trainspotting, "I have an addiction, and you need to respect that." I said to Richard that people could use that line to describe me with my horribly wonderful U2 obsession.

Oh, my U2 mp3 count is now at 438. How sick am I?

I'm exhausted. Daylight Savings Time screws me up every single time. And I have to much work to do this week, I don't even know where to begin.

I also need to stop eating potato chips and get some real food.

Oh, and my answers for the songs:
1) U2 - "Where the Streets Have No Name"
2) Chris Cornell (Soundgarden/Temple of the Dog/Audioslave/solo) - "Follow My Way"
3) matchbox twenty - "Back 2 Good"
4) Rufus Wainwright - "Sonnet #29" (it's Shakespeare + Rufus...how could I not love it? And my favorite sonnet at that)
5) Everclear - "Heartspark Dollarsign"
6) Jeff Buckley - "Lover, You Should've Come Over"
7) The Beatles - "Don't Let Me Down"
8) Radiohead - "Exit Music (For a Film)"
9) The Doors - "Whiskey Bar (The Alabama Song)"
10) Bruce Springsteen - "Jersey Girl"

music, movie reviews, u2
