I can't seem to get my heart to relax these days- it just won't calm down. It was racing and beating so hard at Academic Assembly this week it was making me dizzy.
It's the same response I get with my phobias; the pre-panic attack stage where I know I have to regain control and isolate myself if at all possible to prevent the actual panic. But it's been going pretty straight for- what is that, four days? and I can't seem to get it back. I'm only dizzy off and on, mostly when it gets really bad, but the rapid beating itself is starting to concern me.
I'm unsure of if it's a response to some physical ill or if it's a physical response to an emotional stimulus, as it is with my phobic responses. Either way is troubling, and I need to get it to stop before I pass out somewhere and scare everyone or need to go to the hospital. I don't have health insurance and there's no way I can afford a hospital visit by any means.
