the same things are still happening; Planet of the Drums for instance
but with a different group of people, different place, and different time
I was having memories of the Pit yesterday. Dale felt really bad; like I wanted to go there and he was "preventing" me b/c he was not part of my past
past is just that... the past
the Pit is not the same anymore
no big headliners
Dino is not there
not as crowded as it used to be... at it used to get crowded on a locals night!
I love all of my friends, especially Dale
yeah, I do miss some things from "back then"
but I was different then... and if all of those situations came back, I don't know how I would feel
more outdoor camping parties for this summer
we will go to the Pit together, when a Thursday rolls around and we are not so tired
I'm not jaded. I am just not motivated right now. I think that is the big situation here. I have not gotten excited about anything coming up.
Steven is taking us 4wheelin next Saturday... getting out of this city will be GREAT!
And Dale is opening for Frankie Bones... Dale in the main room, then Denise, then Frankie Bones. And I am doing some "live" art during Denise's set. I think that will be just what this grrl needs :D
I cannot wait... this summer is starting off on the right foot and will only get better!!! I especially can't wait for the bbq I am having before Planet of the Drums! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
