(no subject)
I have *NSYNC Christmas songs floating about my head. Oh, yay!
I found that even though there were no presents here to open, I still got to open two! My awesome neighbors. Carol got me the funniest most best gift ever; a set of jumper cables! Nice ones and they come in this awesome package that has directions on how to use them properly on the back. See, Carol and David (her husband) had to come over and show me how to jump my car once...and I was freaking out...and so yeah. How fun! Wendy got me a Hillshire Farms meat/cheese/cracker/candy thing. It's great! Haven't opened it yet to eat any, but am looking forward to doing that.
Oh! I'm only forty pages away from being finished with The Fellowship of the Ring, and then I'm onward reading into The Two Towers. I will have this trilogy finished by my birthday, for sure! I will.
Legolas and Aragorn are quickly (blame the movies) becoming my favorite characters. Despite my fondness for Frodo and Gandalf, I really have decided that Aragorn should be my favorite. Legolas, really because while reading I think of Orlando Bloom portraying the Elf, and it makes me think how pretty he is. But yes. I'm fond of all the characters, but Aragorn and Legolas are perhaps my new favorites. *sighs* As decided last night? Kitty? This is all your fault. But I thank you for it. :)
