after all the practicing and fun, tonight we went to the improv regionals. we wound up coming in third for our night, which means we won't get to move onto finals, but it really has been a great year of play. i'm proud of everyone for all the hard-work they put in, and their general amazingness!!! improv this year has been phenomenal thanks to the best seven teammates i could have asked for. i love all of you guys more than i can say. also, want to thank everyone who came out to see us play during our nights of competition. it's been really nice this year having friends and family in the audience -- we actually had the cheering section we always joke about! -- so thank you to everyone.
on the car ride home it hit me that this really does mean the end. tonight was my last opportunity to get on stage to compete in the canadian improv games with the improv team, which has been such a big part of my life for four years. its just so surreal. with our sears showcase and awards ceremony having been last night (it went really well! and we got the chance to see some absolutely mind-blowing performances!), the past two days have rushed by, and it's only now that i'm realizing how fast everything sped by. both sears and improv have been such great experiences that i am so lucky to have been apart of, and i can truly say that i'm excited and proud of everything we have accomplished. now all that's left is to have an amazing cast/team party -- which shall fucking rock!!!
ps. came home today from improv to find a nice package from queens waiting for me....i got in!!!!!
