(no subject)
When did I become so un-cool?? Not that I was ever "cool"....but man I just keep getting more and more un-cool.
Listening to Jim Croce ("your olive branches turned to spears when your flower turned to guns") on my philips X-treme portable CD player, purchased in 1998 (with 40 sec skip protector!!), Gray REI sweater tied around my waist (because its warmer then I expected ), while walking on this fine Sunday morning to the marine science center to check on an experiment involving snails, and crabs....I stop several times along the way, once to admire a large beetle on the side of the road, and several times to investigate various plants...it then hits me how un-cool I have become...
One of the crabs in the experiments escaped while I was trying to give him more food, i turned my head for one second and he got and was running around the tank, and man do crabs run fast, the sideways shuffle...I got him back in. Then there was one crab who looks really sick...I thought he was dead at first....Im not sure what to do about him....
