Blah
It's been, what, like 9 days since I posted last? I've been on LJ, checked everyone's posts, but I just haven't had anything to say.
My son, Kale, is fucking awesome! I love him so much! He has 7 teeth now, and is working on his 8th. He's been such a good boy through all the teething also...waking up a couple times at night here and there...give him some milk, change his diaper, maybe a little tylenol or anbesol...and he goes right back to sleep. He's a happy beautiful baby and he's all mine! I am the luckiest mommy alive! Did I mention Kale is going to be YODA for Halloween? Soooooo cute! I love the ears on his costume. In 6 weeks and 3 days, Kale will turn a year old. Holy crap! It's already been almost a year?
My grandparents are moving to the U.P. of Michigan, I'm not sure exactly when, but I know it will be soon. So, that gives me a reason to make a road trip, probably not too soon though. My VW Vanagon is still not fixed, but it really doesn't need much more done to it. I'll be able to drive it for my road trip. Most likely it will be just Kale and I. Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan...what an awesome drive.
Work is going alright. I would love to find another job though. I am the kitchen's asst. manager...and I got a raise a while ago...and word is I'll be getting another one very soon...but the job just doesn't do it for me. I love cooking at home, but not so much in a restaurant...maybe if I worked in catering it wouldn't be soo bad. I'm not currently looking, I do like the fact that the place is chill as are my co-workers...and my hour's are daytime.
I still have every email I got from Brad in my inbox...and every email I sent him. Why don't I go through and delete all those? I keep asking myself that, but I am just not ready to delete those memories. Blah, guys suck. Hehe.
