*sings* "In my life, I've loved them all"

Well then. Yesterday was an exciting day. First came the French final, which was an absolute joke. It took me 45 minutes...instead of the 90 minutes they gave us. And I think I did pretty well, except maybe on the PC/Imp stuff that always kills me anyway. Then I got a haircut, which was cool. My hair is much shorter now, it kinda scares me. But, it was the rare haircut in which I actually came out pleased. My mom usually usurps my judgement and decides to cut my hair some four inches shorter than I want it and I always come out with some bob-hair cut that makes me want to curl up in a corner and cry. I love long hair, in case you were wondering.

Then I went to lunch with Melissa. I love going off with people who have licenses and therefore don't have to call parents to pick us up. It was loads of fun. We went to Noodles and Co, which is the awesomest restaurant ever, and sat in one of those crazy booths (I love booths, they make me happy) and talked. And then wandered around while discussing Rufus Wainwright and sipping hot chocolate/raspberry mocca (yes, I was the one with the hot chocolate...obviously...got it all over my jacket too). I had lots of fun; I hadn't talked to Melissa seriously for a while so it was cool. (Yes Melissa, you are awesome)

Then Melissa drove me to Allie's house (ah, the wonders of driving...) where I practiced piano for a while while Allie and her mom took down Christmas decorations. I find it incredibly ironic that they took down Christmas decorations the same day that Allie/I threw a "long lost holiday party". Then I helped vaccuum while Allie laughed at the fact that I prefered to vaccuum than to practice piano. Then we went shopping, where the line at Dominics was absurd. Snowstorm days are funny. Then we made gingerbread dough, which we never did actually bake.

Then people arrived. Ooo. People. lol. We tried playing Cranium for awhile, but that sort of died, as did the attempts to play Ten Fingers and Truth or Dare. There was a slight escapade with mistletoe (Bekki...), which I managed to escape being under. Barely. Elora put it way up high on a cabinet where no one excedpt Elora could ever reach it. It got broken in the process though. *tear* Then we watched Napoleon Dynamite which wins the award of "weirdest movie I've seen in awhile" discounting the creepy nuns-on-cocaine movie. Don't ask. PLEASE. It was scarring. The nun movie, not Napoleon Dynamite. That was just funny. And comfortable, seeing as I had a pillow... (Hi Lasky!) Who had to leave sometime in the middle of the movie which made me sad. :'(

I must say that every single one of my friends has dirty minds. In case you were wondering.

So, we finished the all-entrancing movie, which the crazy "i love technology" song at the end by the tone-deaf guy whose name I can't remember for the life of me. By then it was only me, Jabons, Meara, Matt (hungerford), Max (blackstone), Melissa, and (obviously) Allie. At which point we started reading from my quotes notebook--which at some point I must post the backdate quote I have...there are a lot. About as many as I didn't write down... Which was amusing. and then we initiated Jabons into Avenue Q, which was fun. I was singing "The Internet Is For Porn" at the top ofmy longs when I realized Allie's dad was in the next room. oops... I don't think he was TOO scarred.

Well, I have to go practice piano. lol. Ttyl!
