I feel like I've been blogging to an empty internet this weekend. awh well. I wanted to draw this for a while ... its not my first attempt either. I love this film, but found out more recently that people have a love it or hate it style reaction. I was listening to the commentary again the other day, and then found this section online. :)
I dragged Shaz to see Attack The Block last night (and made some pooorrr pasta sauce, but we'll pretend that bit didn't happen). I really loved it. I was actually expecting a lot more obvious frame by frame parodies/homages but it was more like its own style because of the combination of more subtle things. I really lieked that it had puppets. big flashy CGI films just don't ground the animation to the live action well enough.
(I managed to resist the temptation to shout 'stephen!' in a small cinema screen)
hahhaa maybe I should take note and tone down the references.
I would love to know your opinions on these colours? make you feel sick or is it pretty? hahhaa .. its not like I've not risked weird colouring in the past. I just thought I'd get a second opinion.
