yeeehhh, more colour collaborations. This time I coloured a page by Nattherat who has a awesome website - you can see it here.
my colouring 'style' is just a lazy one. and I do get comments about my colouring sometimes. hahaha which probably just means that all the other elements of my comics are even lazier than that.
I'm over exaggerating, I do but quite a bit of effort in with new colours and limited pallets etc etc ... and then my page is like 'are you going to add some tones now?' and I'm like 'pft, no.'
but this TONC page was really difficult. umm I mostly draw 'slice of life' comics. so a fantasy background was realllyyy difficult to colour. it was fun having the challenge though, and something different to do. En's pencils are beautiful and it must take them so much longer to find the time to colour every page to the high standard they are. you should definitely have a read if you've not already.
:) and this is the page I sent out coloured by En. I'm enjoying the contrast a lot. I'm far too scared to colour with contrasts like this. It reminds me of Paprika, I really love the colouring in that film.
so yeah, its been a fun week colouring these pages. I might colour another page of TONC if I can find the time next week (I just noticed the beginning of the week will be kinda busy) and then maybe after a break see if anyone else would be interesting in collaborating more.
