EUNHYUK POV
Eunhyuk walked into his room and sat down on his bed. Looking around he tried to look for something to clean or tidy up. being the clean soul he is whenever he's upset cleaning is the first thing he does. Finding nothing to clean he sighs in frustration and lays back down onto the bed and closes his eyes.
“Gyuri” he whispers.
Tears fell down from the sides of his face onto the pillow as he thinks about how Gyuri would never visit Sukira as a permanent guest again. The words that had been unspoken for so long would never be said. He turned sideways are sobbed into the pillow
He will never get to tell her he loves her.
Gyuri POV
A month later Gyuri sat in the car with her members after a guesting at a show and her mind wandered back the the first time she met the Super Junior boys. Eunhyuk had stood out straight away, and she had slowly developed into a mild crush. Since idol army, star king, miracle, kangshimjang and sukira guestings the crush had deepened into love. She had got to know eunhyuk really well. She looked out of the window as tears began to form. he was the kind of person she could spend the rest of her life with without regret. he had respect for himself and others and his smile killed her every time. The next time she will see him would be during a guesting at starking, kang shim jang or at the end of year music shows.
Even though she had his number she didn’t dare to take the first step and call him like a friend would although he had stopped her in the hall after Sukira and told her to call him to eat. In his eyes they were only friends. Tears started to fall and Gyuri quickly wiped them away before one of the girls notice their strong unwavering leader is hurting.
Jiyoung gets startled when her phone rings and Lupin plays out from the phone speakers, realising who the caller is she hurries to answer the phone.
“LEETEUK OPPA- HELLO!” Jiyoung yells into the phone making Gyuri jump in the process “You want to meet up for dinner oppa? And i should bring Gyuri unnie with me?” Jiyoung replies through the phone.
“okay we’ll see you then oppa!” Jiyoung says before cutting the line.
Jiyoung turned to Gyuri and said “unnie Teukkie oppa called just now and asked us to dinner tomorrow. He said he misses seeing us” Gyuri nods.
At least Eunhyuk oppa wont be there.
LeeTeuk POV
Having noticed the change in Eunhyuk since the Kara girls stopped guesting on sukira Leeteuk had realised Eunhyuk might have feelings for godess Gyuri. To test his theory leeteuk had mentioned Gyuri in passing by during a guesting with SS501. Upon watching Eunhyuk suddenly tense up and look at Gyuri’s seat longingly, his suspicions were confirmed. The great leader sits down to about what he should do in order to fix his members heartbreak. Remembering that he was seeing Jiyoung tomorrow he quickly decides to set up Eungyu couple on a surprise date.
Leeteuk walks into Eunhyuks room the next day and see's him lying on the bed looking at a picture of him and Gyuri from the last guesting and figures he’d got the pd noona to give it to him. Grinning Leeteuk sneaks behind Eunhyuk and puts a hand on his arm making him jump up.
“What are you doing?” Leeteuk asks Eunhyuk grinning.
“Nothing hyung” Eunhyuk says placing the photo under his pillow. “Just thinking about things.”
Eunhyuk stands up a grabs his coat and looks at Leeteuk
“So hyung you said we’re meeting Jiyoung right” Leeteuk suddenly doubles up in pain making Eunhyuk dash to him.
“Hyung whats wrong?” Eunhyuk says helping him up to sit on the bed
“Eunhyuk-ah can you go meet Jiyoung alone, I dont think I can go like this, poor girl probably hasn’t eaten yet”
Eunhyuk nods uncertainly and helps take Leeteuk back to his own room.
“I'll go for you hyung”
As he leaves the room he thinks “At least its not Gyuri”
No ones POV
“Silly Jiyoung” Gyuri mutters as she walks into the near empty restaurant.
She sits down at the pre booked table that the waitress points her to puts her head into her arms and groans. The restaurant is completely empty people might think that her and Leeteuk are on a date.
She hears the door of the restaurant open and the waitress saying “this way sir.” She lifts her head and turns around to see who came in, as she does so her eyes meet with someone she didn’t expect to see for a few months. Eunhyuk was standing in front of her with a stricken look on his face.
“Gyuri-shi” Eunhyuk whispers his eyes taking in her appearance. Gyuri was sitting at the table in a plain v neck black top and a pair of white shorts. With no make up, it was plain Gyuri, not the fake personality on TV but the real thing. Eunhyuks heart faster and faster as he walks to the table.
Gyuri’s eyes begin to water as Eunhyuk sits down in front of her.
“Where is Jiyoung?” Eunhyuk says softly not taking his eyes of her.
“She felt sick so told me to go alone” Gyuri whispered looking back at Eunhyuk and gulping.
“That's strange Teukki hyung was sick as well so he told me to go alone he never told me you would be here, he ordered me to feed Jiyoung” he mutters tilting his head in deep thought. Gyuri replies that Jiyoung said something very similar.
“Well seeing as we’re already here and are both hungry lets just get something to eat” Eunhyuk looks down at the menu the waitress had placed on the table. Gyuri nods and orders her food.
Whilst waiting an awkward silence falls between the two.
“So...” Eunhyuk says looking down at his hands. “How have you been?”
Gyuri looks over at Eunhyuk and smile “I’ve been okay, I’ve...” Eunhyuk looks up waiting for her to finish but she never does. “forget it its nothing important”
Dinner is a silent affair, Gyuri and Eunhyuk are unusually quiet. Gyuri’s thinks back to the first time she felt something for the man in front of her and wonders when it got awkward between them.
Once dinner is finished, the bills paid and they’re both standing outside the restaurant bidding one another goodbye, their hearts fill with regret. They probably wont see each other for a long time. Gyuri turns away and begins to walk away when Eunhyuk realises Gyuri probably walked to the restaurant.
“Gyuri sshi- “ Eunhyuk called out to her. Gyuri stops dead in her tracks and a small smile forms. She was hoping he’d stop her, tell her he misses her just as much as she misses him.
“Gyuri- “ Eunhyuk catches up with her and grabs her hand “I’ll take you home, its dark outside.” the smile dissipates, she knew he would never say anything like that to her.
Eunhyuk drops Gyuri off and says good bye to her wanting to say more but he stops himself. She steps out of the car and bows. Hesitating trying to form words and then quickly turning away before he notices. she quickly begins makes her way to the elevator upon reaching there tears begin to form. Suddenly she’s enveloped in a hug. Its Eunhyuk. Gyuri turns around and her arms come around the rapper and tears fall freely.
“Finally” she whispers sobbing into his black jacket and Eunhyuk starts to laugh his signature high pitched laugh.
“Why don’t you say what you want to say Gyuri-ah” Eunhyuk teases her pulling her away from him. his eyes full of twinkling stars and happiness. he's glad she forgot her purse. when he saw her wiping her tears he knew she felt the same way. When Gyuri says nothing he wipes away her tears and hugs her again before murmuring “I love you” Gyuri shuts her eyes and nods, “me to” she says thanking Leeteuk and Jiyoung for falling ill at the same time.
A month later Gyuri was Djing on her show Shimshimtapa when she gets an idea. She texts Eunhyuk to watch the live bora of Shimshimtapa and tells him he’ll love what she’s got planned.
The music is on, some song is playing and Eunhyuk is watching his girlfriend intently through the computer screen.
“Gyuri-ah what are you up to” Eunhyuk mutters watching her type something into her phone.
Suddenly Eunhyuks phone buzzes. Its a text.
“Oppa look at me” it says Eunhyuk looks back up in time to see Gyuri making a heart. He grins to himself before laughing out loud in his usual cheep way and texts her back
Watch me tomorrow won’t you, we’ll play lupin just for you.
Gyuri smiled to herself as the the text came through at the end of the song. And so the game of the love signals Hyukri style begins.
