After Minzy and Taemin take Chaekey back to their respected homes, they get up to get ready for the next music show. this whole chapter is going to be something along the lines of ChaeKey remembering their meeting , falling in love and breaking apart flashbacks till the time where they eventually get to the music program and are face to face with one another. Its basically a time line of how Key/CL progressed to the point where both were scared of seeing one another, and angered. in this chapter i've basically done flashbacks on Key realising he's feeling something for CL, and him comforting CL, then Key realising that CL likes GD (skydragon) he can't stand seeing her upset so her proposes to her in front of GD telling her to fake date him, that way CL might realise that GD will never see chaerin the way she wants GD to see her, hence, she'll fall in love with key, who'll have supported her all that time. slowly slowly chaerin starts to realise that she's got some feelings for key and that its nothing like what she feels for GD, the next parts going to have a lot of CL's feelings.
so overall its KEY/CL getting ready for the music show, all the while remembering their relationship. chapter 4 will start of something along the lines of CL and Key standing face to face, remembering the final and biggest blow and what split the two best friends apart. they become to close and intimate to quickly so never had time to realise what they were feeling...
oh and as for the dark room scene.. that happen before they started to date

3. Lets go back in time
Key POV
Key wakes up with a splitting head ache and remembers last night, he’d spoken to Chaerin after a long time. His heart beat faster as her remembers really noticing her for the first time last year.
Flashback
Kibum was walking down from practice room 15, having just finished practising Juliette, he’d been feeling the need to dance badly when he saw a brown haired small eyed girl go by, she wasn’t stick thin like his noona’s neither was she large like Shindong hyung. He was dressed in bold colors her hair curled up in some intricate doo. She had on thick eye make up and was dressed in a pair of jeans and a hoody. She walked past Kibum giving him a slight bow and an “annyoung sunbae” before turning away leaving him breathless and intoxicated.

Key sighs and walks into the kitchen ready to prepare breakfast for everyone; he’ll be seeing Roo today. Last night had soothed every hurt and pain he’d received. Just seeing her turn up, and talk to him, them acting the way they always did around one another, allowed Key to fall back into their old days

CL POV
CL wakes up, and groans holding her head, her head feels as if its been bulldozed by a 1000 bulls. She sits up holding her head and grins. It was worth it, she’d been forgiven.
Flashback
Chaerin feels tired, oh so tired, she’s had less than 2 hours of sleep and she’s up to perform in two hours. Exhaustion takes over and she lets all the pain out. She’s in a room where no one will find her, its pitch dark and sound proof, inside the only sounds that can be heard at the clock ticking and her painful moans.
Her body groans as she tries to sit comfortably, eventually she gives up collapsing in the position she’s in and lets it rip. She cries like crazy, forgetting that her make up will be ruined, forgetting that her eyes will be red and that she might not stop crying. She sits holding herself close sobbing her heart out wishing someone would come and just hold her tight, that someone being GD, Her pillar of support, the love of her life. The door creeks open and a crack of light escape into the room.
Chaerin looks up wondering who it could be and stumbles backwards on the floor, it’s Kibum sunbae. Chaerin wipes away her tears and stands up as Kibum walks into the room. He closes the door and once again the room is in darkness. Suddenly she’s enveloped in a deep warm hug full of mint and chocolate. There was also a musky scent of cologne which you could only smell if you got very close.
“shhh” he said rubbing her back “it’ll be okay”
Chaerin tries to push him away, but he holds her.
“Let it out Chaerin” Kibum whispers holding her tighter.
“I’ll fix your makeup for you later”
CL still buried in his hug lets out a wail and cries harder than ever.
END
Chaerin grins, all the pain gone and jumps out of bed; eagerly she gets ready to go to Inkigayo. She rushes out without her members who are sleeping, and realizes she’s jumping the gun.
After all the hurt will he accept me?

Key POV
Kibum walks into Minho’s and Jonghyun’s room and pulls the covers of the pair of them, Minho sits up with a moan, and Jonghyun just sleeps on.
“YA! WAKE UP!” he bellows as Jonghyun shoots up out of shock.
“Finally, now get up” Key grabs Jonghyuns hands and drags him off his bed, “and get ready okay”
Key walks out to wake up Onew and Taemin, all the while remembering when he had realized that CL wasn’t interested in him
FLASHBACK
“YA NICOLE” he says walking into Kara’s prep room at music core.
Nicole looks up and jumps over to him handing him some chocolate and enveloping him in a hug.
“KIBUM!!!!” She gives him another hug and pulls him over to the sofa in the corner of the room.
“I know you asked me to get Chaerin’s number for you, but…”
Key’s eyes narrowed
“What Cole-ah?” he asks
“When I went over there I saw Chaerin’s diary by accident, and I read about how she’s in love with GD, she snatched away the diary before I could read any more of it.” Nicole said awkwardly not really knowing how to say what she needed to say. She took another deep breath,
“I felt that it wouldn’t be wise to tell her you liked her”
Nicole put a hand on Kibum’s lap and spoke probably the wisest words she had ever said.
“If she likes you Kibum, she’ll come to you” he lifted his downcast head and looked her in the eye.
“Slowly court her and she’ll never know what hit her”
Key contemplated on Nicole’s words and nodded slowly.
“Maybe your right Cole-ah” Kibum said slowly “these things can’t be rushed”

He takes a deep breath and opens his door, he shouldn’t be remembering such things, although he would never be able to date or tell CL how much he loved her, right now he was content on just going back to being friends, knowing there was bad feelings between them where there had once been trust made him curl his fist tightly in anger.

CL POV
Chaerin thinks back to yesterday when she saw Nicole hugging Key as she passed them by. Key had been so immersed he hadn’t realized she’d been there, she remembers the way he looked at Nicole and tears formed. Sniffling she pushed away her breakfast. Maybe what he felt for her then was lust, or a momentary thing, Nicole and key look really good together, maybe that’s why the fans love them and call them keycole.
FLASHBACK
“NICOLE-AH!!”
Chaerin turns around in time to watch Kibum running up to where f(x)’s Amber and Nicole were standing. She see’s Nicole’s face brighten up and Amber automatically put an arm around the twinkle eyed Kibum.
“You better take care of Amber since she’s debuting” he says poking Nicole’s face with an affectionate grin. Nicole slaps Kibums arm and pouts.
“Did I ever treat you wrongly that you’re saying such a thing to me, your best friend Kibum-ah”
Kibum grins.
“Ya Amber, you don’t know half of it. She calls me up in the middle of the night once a week when everyone’s sleeping and sleep talks” Amber cracks up while Nicole looks flabbergasted.
“YA no I don’t!” Nicole says pouting
“YEA YOU DO!” Kibum says “have you ever checked your phone, I listened to you for 2 hours just yesterday.
He laughs in delight as he see’s Nicole get angrier and angrier.
“AMBER HURRY UP WE’RE GOING ON IN TWO” a flustered Chinese girl that Chaerin gathered to be Victoria shouts.
Amber suddenly turns nervous and turns visibly pale in comparison to before and Chaerin see’s Kibum envelope her in a hug.
“ya you’re going to be okay, we’re all going to be right on the side watching you okay, don’t be nervous”
With that he pushes Amber towards Victoria and grins at Nicole who had by then forgotten the whole incident and swings his arms around her petite shoulders.
“ya Nicole”
“hummm”
“loose some weight would you”
“KIM KI BUM!!!!” she hears Nicole shout as Kibum runs away filling the halls with laughter as she turns away she wishes she could be standing there with Kibum and his awesome friends.
Her heart burns as she thinks of how her little crush was preventing her from focusing on anything but itself. She wanted to make idol friends, prime examples being her fellow 91ers and the 90er’s but she knew she would have to give them the time if she did so, and YG doesn’t mix with anyone but their own. But what does one do when the man in the centre of the family is the love of her life and keeps rejecting her.

CL stands up annoyed all of a sudden and chucks her untouched food into the bin in front of her wide eyed members. Her upper lip trembles and she burst out in tears.

Key/CL back to back POV
Chaerin calms down after being coaxed by her unnie’s and her loving maknae. If only her unnie’s knew. They’d always known that she had liked and secretly dated someone from September down till December last year when things went wrong, but they’d never asked who and why. How shocked would they be if they knew who the boy was and how she'd been blinded and hurt him. She thinks back to the day that Key asked her out in front of GD and curses herself for having been so blind so as to not realize that her feelings for GD had changed and that her heart was Key’s already.
Key leans on the kitchen counter and raises his eyebrows, Minho is eating very slowly whilst Taemin keeps shooting him smirk filled glances. He see’s the maknae grabbing his phone and punching in a few words and pressing send, curiosity takes over and Key snatches the phone out of taemins hand. He’s been texting Minzy again. Key smirks, at Taemin whose suddenly panicking.
“did you forget I was the one who set you two up” he whispers into his ear, Taemin blushes and hisses
“we’re not like that hyung!” before turning away to tell Onew about he needed help with homework.
Key turns away still smirking and goes into his bedroom. He walks over to his CD collection and eye’s GD’s signed CD.
If only I was you sunbae, if only.
FLASHBACK
The same day kibum’s about to head home when he see’s Chaerin walk past her eyes full of tears. Surprised he runs after her wondering what's wrong.
“Chaerin” Kibum says quietly opening the door she had slammed close moments ago.
He see’s her standing in the corner. He walks up to her preparing for another one of her waterfalls only to find that She’s standing there looking at something deep in thought.
Moving closer he realizes that its a picture of her and GD sunbae.
“You like GD sunbae?” Kibum whispered to himself taking a few steps back out of shock.
She turned around her eyes red from crying. She looked like as though she was going to faint. She wipes her tears surprised and worried.
“What did you hear” she says viciously to Key pushing him.
“Everything” He closes up onto CL and says “Why, are you going to do something, if I know about your little crush”
CL gasps her eyes widening in shock.
“You...” CL says
“CHAERIN-AH!” GD shouts outside the room. “CHAERIN-AH YOU IN THERE” The door opens a crack.
CL tries to push Key away but he holds her quickly and says,
“If you want GD follow my lead” CL looks confused for a second and nods… unsure of what Kibum is cooking up
“Chaerin…”
Kibum spins Chaerin and kneels down.
“Will you go out with me Chaerin?” Kibum says looking in her eyes imploring her to say yes.
Chaerin blushes and wrings her hands…
“I… okay” CL replies finally
“CHAERIN-AH” GD shouts in horror, he’d been watching the whole time.
Kibum stands up looking surprised although he’s really not. He bows to GD
“sunbae I hope you will support us” Kibum grabs hold of Chaerins’s hand.
GD rushes forward and pins Kibum to the wall a hand poised to punch.
“How dare you,” GD fumes, trying to kill the young boy with his glares.
“Don’t corrupt our girls” He says.. “Chaerin, we’re leaving, and no you cannot date him” He thrusts Kibum to the floor and grabs her hand.
Chaerin pushes GD’s hands away and crouches down near Kibum, checking if he’s okay, her eyes filled with worry.
“Oppa, please let us date” Chaerin says quietly looking at Kibum, checking to see if he’s hurt.
GD stands there looking lost.
Slowly he realizes his little girl’s growing up.
he holds his heart, worrying about his little girl and with a curt nod and a bob of his blond hair walks out his head bent low.
END
Kibum grins remembering how CL had told GD to let them date, if only them dating hadn’t been so fake. Maybe he could still somehow get CL back.
Key sigh’s grabbing his hoodie and walks out to where the boys were washing up their dishes.
“hurry up, I’m waiting in the car” key says before walking out with his hoodie and bag in hand

Chaerin puts on her hoodie and looks at the Juliette CD Onew oppa had given her the first time they’d visited shinee when they’d debuted, and smiles quietly. She opens the CD and reads key’s message.
I think you and I are going to be really good friends

Key POV
Key sits in the car with the manager hyung and closes his eyes. He’s tired, last night he hadn’t realised he’s probably had a bit to much to drink. Right now he cold do with a hug from his gran. The manager turns the radio on and go away fills the car.
Key turns cold as he remembers how CL had wanted to confess to GD about them fake dating.
FLASHBACK
Kibum walks up to Chaerin who was standing outside her dorm waiting, she was dressed just the way he likes her to dress, casual baggy and a little weird. He himself was in similar attire.
Chaerin had called Kibum up last night telling him that GD was keeping an eye on her, and that maybe she should tell GD that they’re fake dating.
Worried Kibum had gone to Chaerin’s dorm first thing in the morning, trying to make her change her mind. Maybe its because she was able to halt his world by just breezing past, or the fact that he couldn’t stand seeing tears in her eyes, whatever it was that Kibum was feeling compelled him to get to the bottom of it all and finally figure out what his relationship with Chaerin was.
“Chaerin” Kibum whispered, as she eyed him up and down.
“Kibum, come on, let’s go” She walks past him ignoring his pleas and presses the button for the elevator.
Kibum stomps over to her and spins her around pinning her to the wall beside the elevator and steps closer.
He bends down placing his mouth near her ears and speaks very quietly.
“you will never get GD this way” he whispers.
“He’ll think of you as childish girl who doesn’t know what she wants” he continues. “Do you want that?” Kibum pulls away and looks her in the eyes.
“Do you want that?” he repeated with a little force.
“No” replies Chaerin, tears welling up in her eyes. “I want him to see me as a women, not as a little girl” she whispers walking into Kibum now wide open arms and settles down in his embrace.
“Sorry” she says softly as the elevator dings open and GD comes out his eyes wide open in shock when he spotted Chaerin and Kibum locked in a hug.
GD casts his eyes down after glaring at Kibum and walks over to the 2NE1 ladies dorm and asks to be let in by Dara. Dara opens the door and GD slips in the door closing shut quietly.
“At least he was surprised” Kibum whispers holding Chaerin tight, laughing slightly as she struggles to understand what this new feeling she has when Kibum holds her is arms.
One day I hope you’ll feel the same way I feel about you-
he places a kiss on her head and calls the elevator again.

Kibum sighs and asks the manager to turn the music off. He uses the excuse that he’s tired and that the others will make enough noise alone, that having the radio will just make it 1000x worse. Knowing the boys well the manager turns the radio off and calls Onew asking him to come down with the others quickly

CL POV
Chaerin thinks back to the day when Kibum came over to her dorm uninvited and dragged her out for the day, the memory brings up jealousy and fond memories, she cant remember what outweighs what. She picks up her bags and puts them in the doorway, today is going to be a long day
Flashback
The phone rings, awakening Chaerin with a jolt. She stumbles out of bed trying to find the phone. Finally finding it she switches it on giving a muffled and a tad croaked hello along with a cough.
“are you home alone today Roo?” Kibum asked her surprising Chaerin by calling her Roo,
since when did he think he could…
“hurry up and answer me!” he interrupted her thoughts.
“YES I’m home alone” she snapped at him over the phone getting more and more annoyed by the second.
“what do you want Kibum?” she said walking into the kitchen to get some breakfast.
“TODAY CHAERIN, I HAVE A HUGE SURPRISE FOR YOU!” Kibum shouted down the line deafening Chaerin momentarily.
Chaerin pulls the phone away from her ears as he shouts down the phone “meet me outside your dorm in 20 minutes! I’m on my way! No need to dress up okay! Make sure its hard to recognize you!” with a laugh he shut the phone. Chaerin stood exactly where she was looking at her phone when suddenly the door bell rang.
She walks over to the door and opens it revealing her fake boyfriend. He looks her up and down before giving an exasperated sigh.
“Chaerin I asked you to not dress up but that doesn’t mean you go out in your nighties!” he said walking towards her and her unnies empty bedroom.
Kibum walks into Chaerins room and runs back out to where Chaerin is standing wide eyed.
“ROO! I SAW A BRA! Remove those things so that I can come in and pick what you wear!” Key said shielding his eyes in horror.
Chaerin looked dumbfounded and glared at Kibum.
“Serves you right for entering my room without checking if its okay to go in before hand isn’t it?” she said smirking. “by the way, I never gave you permission to choose what I wear, wait here I’ll be out in a moment” with that she strutted into her room and snapped it shut. Kibum heard the lock click into place and decided to roam the house.
Chaerin stood inside the bedroom giggling to herself. For a man so fashion forward and so feminine he sure is scared of female undergarments. With a snort Chaerin turned to her cupboard and picked out an outfit which would allow her to blend in with seouls scenery.
“Lets go” she said stepping out to find Kibum staring at a picture of her, GD and dara unnie. It looked like as though it had been taken a few years back, before just after Big Bang had debuted.
“Roo looks the same but more beautiful” he whispered making the hair on the back of her spine stand up. He sounded like a man in love, admiring his lover’s old pictures.
Chaerin cleared her throat trying to grab his attention.
“Kibum, you ready?” she whispered.
He turned to her slightly dazed before snapping out of it and giving her a dazzling smile.
“YUP, YUP! Lets go, go, go Roo! I want you to meet my best friend and my adored line!”
He held her hand and dragged her out of the house, not forgetting to wrap her up before hand
Chaerin notices how her bodies tingling and how she can’t get Kibum out of her mind

CL shudders, slapping herself on the head as she remembers how Kibum’s actions had been shouting that he loved her and groans in frustration. The car goes over a road hump and she bops up and down on her seat. Dara is stroking tamtam whilst talking to Minzy about Minho. Chaerin taps Dara on the shoulder and asks for tamtam to be handed to her. Dara looking at the sad CL hands over the adorable plushy and turns away. CL snuggles into her seat as she remembers how Key had introduced her to Nicole, her other best friend.
