ACT exam scores dip for high school class of 2008, but overall more students ready for college First off - longest article title ever, right?!
Second off - what the fuck is WRONG WITH KIDS TODAY?!
To begin, ACT tests, I believe, are the easier exams - as they are topical as opposed to the way the SAT is.
This article says that the ACT tests show 3 of 4 students, THREE of FOUR students "will (likely) need REMEDIAL help in at least ONE subject to succeed in college."
Seriously, what's up with that?
I would be less shocked if it was like 1 in 4, but no, it's 3 in 4.
Are schools not teaching kids the way they taught me and my generation, or are kids just getting fucking stupider or something?
