Movie Trailer Madness Part One

Jan 31, 2007 00:02

Well, I had just gone through and posted all kinds of movie trailers... and then I fucked something up and the whole entry dissapeared because I had wrote a different one and that was my saved draft that got restored... So now I will have to redo it all tomorrow, but here is a taste...

Hot Fuzz
From the people who brought us Shaun of the Dead, comes this movie, which looks SO FREAKING FUNNY!!! There is even a homage to Shaun of the Dead, where they are jumping over the fences... taking the short cut. hahaha. It looks so good. People who are in it: (so many wonderful people) Simon Pegg; Nick Frost (LOVE HIM - Ed, from Shaun of the Dead) Bill Nighy; Steve Coogan (!!!LOVE HIM!!!); Martin Freeman (love him as well; Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy); Paddy Considine (In America); Jim Broadbent (one of my favorite actors); Timothy Dalton; Lucy Punch (the blonde step-sister from Ella Enchanted); Olivia Colman (Sophie from Peep Show, if anyone's seen it; Brit comedy, love that show); and a shit load of other people. But OMG it looks soooo funny!!!

Shrek the Third
Of course it's going to be AWESOME!

Lucky You
Looks like a ridiculous romantic comedy, but somewhat cute. Eric Bana, Drew Barrymore, Robert Duvall. There's poker; and a father/son issue thing.

Reign Over Me
Looks really good -- Adam Sandler and Don Cheadle (who never dissapoints, so obviously its gotta be good). Sandler's family died in a plane crash, and life ensues, and hardships, and dealing, and them being friends after re-meeting years after being college roommates.

Black Book
World-War II drama, Foreign movie, the "untold" story -- a woman, presumably Jewish, changes her identity after nearly escaping death and infiltrates the Nazi's. Then is pegged as traitor by both sides. Looks dramatic and really GOOD.

Blades of Glory
So excited. Will Ferrel, John Heder, Will Arnett, Amy Poehler. Figure Skating. All that needs to be said.

Sunshine
Looks so good. Directed by Danny Boyle (Trainpspotting and 28 Days Later). Sci-Fi in the future, the sun is dying out, and in turn man kind is dying out. A crew goes to re-ignite the sun. Cillian Murphy, Chris Evans, and some more people.

The Lookout
Joseph Gordon Levitt plays a guy who was in a car accident in High School, which caused him to (what looks like) lose his short term memory; he now works as an after hours cleaning guy at a bank. Jeff Daniels seems like a counselor or mentor kind of guy. Enter Matthew Goode (Chasing Liberty) and his posse who get Levitt to help them rob the bank... and craziness ensues.

Seraphim Falls
Liam Neeson and Pierce Brosnan, two Irish guys, playing Civil War rivals in a Western after the fact. Some tragic massacre during the war leads to revenge and justice in the preceeding years. <3 Westerns! and Liam Neeson!

Shooter
Only being included, simply because it has got Mark Whalberg and he is always hott as shit. He gets set up by Danny Glover and the government to take the fall for assassinating (or an attempted one) the president. Then he goes out to exact justice and revenge.

And, I'm done for now.

Part Two will come tomorrow. Tired now. Bed, after posting a journal I wrote earlier...
