First Days in the Land of the Scots

So, im here, in Scotland, and its amazingly wonderful. I have to breif because Diana stayed behind with me and I dont want to keep her waiting long, im at my university over here, bc i dont feel like wasting money at the hostel.

so... a few things that i'll detail more once i get home and am back with my wonderful and beautiful laptop, which i do happen to miss. HOWEVER, missing my laptop does not make me homesick. bc im not and i dont want to leave. i just want my shit shipped over here and to stay forever and ever.

THE PLANE:
british airways rocks. really nice flight, really great takeoff and landing and i was scared of course, and i didnt sleep at all, like i never do, but it was nice, and the food was good.

THE HOSTEL:
not that bad, honestly. its way better than the one i was in during London spring preview. it actually has like REAL beds, amusingly enough, they are actually the very same bunk beds Gwen and i shared in our London flat, so it brings back memories. im in a room with 7 other girls. hot damn, its a lot, and we have no space, but we're dealing. its centrally located, right near the Grassmarket, we're on Cowgate, if anyone knows anything bout Edinburgh. and its great. the breakfast room has a view of teh castle and when i stand outside for a smoke, there's a freakin castle i look at.

THE CASTLE:
obviously, Edinburgh Castle. its so beautiful, words might not do it justice. we spent a lot of time there, and bc of that, missed seeing the Palace of Holyroodhouse, so we've gotta go back there.

really thats is for now i guess. ive done so much. lots of class, lots of touristy stuff. me and Diana went on a couple tours. we did one of the VAULTS, uinderneath Edinburgh's streets, if anyone has seen Most Haunted on the history or travel channel or whatever, well, they were on tehre. fucking creepy and we may have had some paranormal experiences. we were tehre twice actually, once on an historical tour, then on a ghost tour. and so much more we have to do.

but im kept her waiting long enough and im sure she wants to go home and we were gonna try to hit up shopping again but maybe not bc its 5pm and shops close at 6pm here, and its about 1/2 an hour to get down there. sucks a bit.

well im off. its cold, its rainy, its dreery. AND I FREAKIN LOVE IT!!!!!
but thats b/c im a depressing whore.
it gets light around 730/8am and dark around 4pm. and i love it.
sick, i know.
